I'm new to the world of CH and I've got an appt with a Neuro next week.  My GP doc has me on Topamax 50mg and its not doing anything.  My HAs have been with me for over a year now but until now I didn't have info on CHs.

I've been reading up on the CHs and everything seems to be on target with the symptoms but I still can't figure out as to why I have a throbbing/pulsing pain in my head all day long.  This hurts and lays me out one the sofa but is not as horrible as the one sided pain I get on the right side of my face/behind my eye area with the nose stuffiness and all those good things that come along with it.

There is pulsing inside my head, with my neck always feeling like there is a weight on it that needs to be popped or moved, and I feel dizzy too.

I have read some things about the neck but not alot about constantly having a dull throbbing inside the head.  It's in both temples and back of the head and neck area.    Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I'm going nuts?  Is this part of CHs or maybe something else??

HI!

I think you may be suffering from a tension headache..

read this article, matches your description of the pain in your neck and all over your head...

http://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/tc/Tension-Headaches-Topic-Over view

but a Dr. will be the right way to go...he will be able to determine what type of headache you are having..

Good Luck!
