I'm baaaaaacccck

I've been around this board for years, but I post so little that I'm still a newbie. I only visit when I'm in-cycle, since I try really hard to fool myself that each episode is the last. This time around I went in-cycle very quickly, and it was not typical to the way it usually happens. Normally, I get shadows and warnings for the first 3 or 4 weeks leading up to the attack. I can still drink, but I usually know I'm fully in-cycle when I have a beer and after about half of it I'm suddenly in pain. Not this time. This past weekend I played Pub Golf. I had lots of fun and got totally blasted. Got a 6.5 or so later that night but drunkenly fooled myself that it was just a precurser to my hangover (which never actually manifested - yay for small miracles). Then last night, with no warning (and no alcohol at all) I got slammed with a 10. It woke me up from a dead sleep. Arghhhhhhhhhh! To top it all off, my internet went out, so I had nothing to do but sit there in agony with nothing to distract me at all. Oh well, such is life. But really, I just wanted to say hi! Been here before. I go in-cycle about every 18 months or so, and here I am again. Hopefully I can work it out. Kudzu worked well for me last time and I'm hoping that it will again. We'll see. Hopefully my new Dr. will be somewhat enlightened.

Hi Petey I find it interesting that last night you got slammed with a K10, but found that couldn't be"distracted" from it because your internet was down. Do me a favor if you would, please, click on the 5th button down on the left of your screen - "the kip scale", read what a kip 10 is described as, and please tell me how it is, if you are in the middle of a kip 10, that you could even know what "internet" is, let alone try to access it for a distraction from your pain? Inquiring minds want to know. I, too, go in to cycle about every 18 to 24 months, however, because there were so many people here on these boards that helped me, I decided to stick around between cycles to see if I could give back a little of that help to others. I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt about their sincerity with regard to CH, and will be the last one to "flame" anybody, but, you are going to have to do a little more to convince me. Sandy

lol..I dont think she'll take it the wrong way. I think she just may have been out of cycle for too long and forgot that 7 was the wake up point on the scale. Either that or was just being dramatic

What does it feel like? Let me think...Have you ever had something try and eat its way out of your brain? Me either, but I'd imagine it feels something like a CH.
