I need some guidance

It's been a while since I've been at clusterville.  I've cl and migrain both - it's been a while since I've seen a nuero and have been seeing my GP.  I have not taken imitrex for years.  Back then it was shots, which I did not have a problem with, except for the swelling of my throat, which I could not stand.
I'm back to 2-3 clusters a day, taking percodan to get through the day.  Retired cop - starting a PI business since 2005.  My headaches are worse again than they have been for a long time.  '
Does ANYONE know of a clinic where both cluster and migrain hd are studied.  I'm ready for a study group if necessary - it's every day, every day and every day.  I had my GP send me to the US of Wisconsin Madison, hospital.  The nuero there was not so much into headaches as she was into memory loss.  I need info as to where I can go for help.  Any response appreciated.  (I've had hd since 1976, in 1997 I was at diamond hd clinic for 2 wks, and will not return there.  Any one know about the UW Wisconsin in Madison (hospital) or should i keep looking?

I'm just down the road from you in Stevens Point.   I have not heard of any clinical studies or trials being done here in the state.  However, Pam Guedney At Rice Medical Center is a HA specialist and I can fully recomend her.  Splitting imitrex into 1/3 to 1/2 doses is a good way to get the benifit without the gamut of side effects.

I'd be happy to talk to you more.  You can email or PM me any time.

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown
