Hi everyone its Laurie.. Still a Newbie to this site but SOOO very grateful to have found all of you... I was wondering if any one else has devolped any sort of blood clots from CH I have one under the right eye ( same side as CH's) I once had it lanced and all this old gross looking blood came out but within a month it was back.. also I've been reading and reading .. Please remember that until 2 weeks ago when i found this site i HONESTLY thought I was dying .. This is how bad it was.. I was having attacks 5 -6 times a day for 3 weeks straight and my boyfreind came home to me on my hands and knees crawling out the back door (trying to get fresh air i guess not really sure why i was crawling) but after almost knocking myself out banging my head against the wall he said " thats it ... we need to get married this weekend" You see i had no medical insurance and he does. Our wedding was planned for march 27 of 2007 but we eloped to Lake Tahoe so i wouldnt have to wait to see a dr.. sounds crazy and I feel pretty silly now becuase its NOT a brain tumor(hopefully) .. Anyway i have a drs. appt. tomorrow at 1:00 and I have printed out everything that i think he may need to help me because it doesnt look like very many drs are all that educated about CH's .. I have had them since my early 20's and the longest break i have EVER had was one time i went 5 weeks and 4 days pain free.. other than that they are every day although June and July seem to be the worst and also Jan. and Feb are pretty bad... so i think that makes me chronic not episodic?? .. is that right??  ... I've contemplated suicide a few times and attempted it once when i was 25 years old ( Im 42 now)   I just couldnt take the pain when i first started getting them .. its not like you ever get used to it but you learn new tricks to  get through them banging my head on the wall and pulling my hair out in handfuls sometimes distracts me enough to get through it. I have been reading about the oxygen and I just cant believe theres  something that can stop the pain... Is this for real?? OH MY GOD  can you imagine?? I am scared to get my hopes up too much becuase it says it doesnt work for everyone but i cant help but fantasize about it ... getting hit with an attack and then hitting it back and stopping it ?? Is it true?? I cant stop thinking about it .. I'll let you know how my appt goes tomorrow but i cant help but think of the last ten years of pain i went through since that last dr. told me that it sounds like i suffer from CH but that was impossible since i was a woman so he gave me vicodin and sent me on my way.. i hope it goes better tomorrow.. wish me luck and i hope i can get some oxygen soon.. been pain free for almost 24 hours now ...
