Well I'm back , It's been about 8 months of PFDNs, but that has come to a end. I'm back on O2 and 480 mgs of Verapamil. and triptans and ready for battle. My Clusters have been lingering for about 2 weeks know and I haven't had more than a kip 5 and none at night yet, for the most part managing really well, hate that I'm back but can't beat the support of the group.

Just keep focusing on being PF for 8 months and how great it will be when this cycle is over. In your arsenal don't forget the Melatonin, energy drinks, coffee and lots of water. Maybe this one will only last a few days this time. (well one can hope anyway)

The other advantage to sticking around is you know all about the hints and tips we come up with BEFORE you need them so you're ready 480mg of verap? I hope you didn't go straight to that dose? You did increase it slowly didn't you? If you're still having breakthroughs you may want to up it again (subject to doctor approval, you need to discuss that with him. He knows your general health, I do not!) Have you thought about melatonin for night time hits if they come? Nows the time to consider it so you've got your game plan ready. Have you tried red bull or the generic equivalents as an abortive or strong coffee? Lots of ideas and suggestions, we'll get you through it! Helen

| I did the same thing for a long time--when the cycle was finished, I'd put it out of my mind until the next cycle. Part of coping, I suppose. A lot of us episodics do that. I decided to stick around this time and try to help. I'm glad I did. It's a lot more than good karma--it's paying forward. Best wishes, George
