Hi there everyone my Name is Brett and i've had clusters since i was 14. they turned chronic at 16. The hardest part about these headaches is keping your morale up, thats why sites like this rock. As my pain progressed into chronic it also began to effect my neck and jaw severly. I've yet to find a usful treatment and i've tried many. Rescently joined clusterbusters and may try the said treatment but am hesitant. >I'll be 21 in a couple of months and my sympthoms only get worse as i get older. Is this normal? >I've only found two things that help me.(1) Epsom salt; rub directly on sore area several times in a hot bath. (2) Cannibas; minimal dosage for pain and depression. >What do you guys think causes a cluster? >How does anybody keep a job?????? >Its good to be a part of the family.

Welcome Brett, this is the best place for info and support for CH. Look on the left hand side there you will find some of your questions answered and very good links. Read as much as you can, it is important to be informed, to be able to fight this condition. As for cannabis, it is not advised to use it as for most it is a trigger. Try Oxygen as it is one of the best abortives.

Hi Brett. Hope the buster treatments works for you. I'm a believer. My symptoms have been largely the same since I first started with CH around 17 Cannabis good for depression. Keep a job? No one here has a job except a guy named Bob and hes quitting it soon. Just kidding. We take our hits and carry on no matter how hard we get hit. CH is a wall we need to get over every day and every hour, but its only a wall, there is no cieling. Scream on one side and dance on the other. Good to have you here any questions just ask and read like Jas says.

Hi Brett, I've been chronic since day one of Ch for me, I've tried many many different meds and none of them havegiven me any relief other than the RC seeds. I've just had 15 days PF from one dose and I'm about to redose again today so I shall let everyone know how well I do again from there. Normally I get 3-4 hits a day with peaks of 10-14 for a week or so every five to six weeks. I've got hit four times in the last two days and they weren't "bad" ones. I wouldn't presume o tell you what to do, I do suggest you read other's experiences on here and on the CB site and make your own plan of action from there good luck, at 20 you deserve all the pain free time you can have Helen

Be careful with canabis. I don't know what the quality is that you use but the quality here in Holland is so high that you might get into a panic situation if you "overdose". I don't want you to experience a panic situation during an attack: it's like hell!! Best regards, Bert
