I was glad to not have to think about these for about 1 year or so. Whenever I go for a long period without my pain, I think it may be over. I must be nuts to think that. I hope someday this will actually end, so I can live.

I know what you mean. November of 2005 they came back after over 2 years off. I convinced myself i was cured. Stupid, i know, and I'll convince myself they're gone next time too. I swear only fishermen and padres fans are more optimistic then we are! Welcome back, sorry you had to return! Guiseppi

After my 6th year, I quit thinking they might mot come back. too hard to take when they do. Now I just try not to think about it until the cycle starts, but I know it will. 14 years running.
