Here we go again!

Hello all, Just registered as a new member. I live in the UK and am once again dealing with the demon. Currently I am in week 6 of this particular cluster and getting 4-6 flares a day. These are really hurting as I have just had an appendectomy which led to scepticaemia so the timing couldn't be worse (not that there is ever a good time!), the lack of sleep is killing me. I've dealt with alot of pain in my life through sport and have broken, torn and dislocated more than my fair share but I would do all of that again gladly to never have another episode.

Hello Jules and welcome here. Like everyone asked, what meds are you on? On the left hand side there is very good info to browse through. Mrs Mac is right, you will never feel alone again. These lights are on 24/7.

Sorry that you had to find us. Welcome. Depending on what meds you are taking now, there are sometimes other things you can do that might work better. If you havent tried it, Oxygen has virtually no side effects, and no conflicts with meds. Used properly, it can be an effective abortive to CH. Hope you are pain free soon!! Dragnlance

There are a lot of things you can use to try and get more sleep. Ambien, Melatonin (my personal fave at 9 mg), and others. Welcome aboard, I hope you can find the right thing to help you get sleep. It took me weeks and weeks to find 9mg of Melatonin was going to get me sleep. I am a new person again (also 480 of Verapomil 2x240). Share your meds and other things you try and I bet the people here can give you tips to help you sleep. Sorry you are here but glad to have you.

You've overstayed your welcome since the day we met but it doesn't seem to matter to you. No medications are your master, nothing makes you fret, it's a helpless feeling having nothing I can do
