I had to get 2 shots. An IV shot in my left arm and a contrast shot in my right arm. They actually taped the needle into my left arm for about 45 minutes, while the whole MRI process was going on. So I'm walking around the whole time dying to bend my arm, but afraid that the needle might punch another hole in my vein if I bent it the wrong way. The machine was extremely loud and the guy performing the MRI told me to try and take a nap because it would be about 20 minutes... Uh... sure, why not... Loud machines and naps don't really mix but what the hell... I'll try my best. Over time I eventually dozed off, but was frightened almost half way to death when the machine switched cycles and started making a siren noise. I can't wait for this whole process to be over with. They did get some pretty good shots though. I have to take them to another Neurologist on the 25th I think. Hopefully I'll get some good news. Wish me luck everybody!
