When The Holidays Seem Overwhelming

There are millions of families in our country who are victims of domestic violence. If they make it to a shelter they often arrive with only the clothes on their backs. The parent is traumatized and overwhelmed and frightened. The children are often confused and scared. Donations to these facilities can give the family so much more than the donation itself. It fortifies the spirit of exhaused souls and helps them find strength to continue to forge a new way that they are learning to live. One of my favorite christmas presents to myself this year will be delivering my goodies to that shelter Cheers

I currently work in a domestic violence court house. Amazing how much business INCREASES over the holidays. Certainly a worth while charitable cause this time of the year. Guiseppi
