When ya get done practicing we got a little drive of 500 miles comin up the last week of Jan. The weather should be horrific. This is the last pass on the journey.

My brother was born and raised and lives here in So Cal. If you break down here you will sit on the side of the road until you call triple A for a tow, or the cops to help you.
2 years ago he was visiting his in laws in Minnesota in one of these "ice storms". Being of So Cal blood he naturally spun out into a snow bank half burying his car. In the span of 10 minutes 4 cars drove by. ALL STOPPED. They produced jackets for his wife and kids, ropes and shovels and had him out in short order.
When he commented on the generosity they replied, "if you get left out in this you die!" I do like your spirit back there.

The smart move would be to get off at the Neponset river and go through Quincy, They are only rolling at 3 MPH on the expressway.....they are rolling at 30 MPH on the back roads.
At least you would be moving instead of sitting there.....Oh and by the way, folks are starting to abandon their cars on the SE expressway, that should slow it down to 1 MPH...LOL

I'm assuming that the blue does not mean "pretty sky".
Dry roads in the midwest. 3" to 6" tomorrow.
Ice on Wednesday, Dry Thursday, Snow Friday. Gotta love it.
