My kids got us tickets to go and see Dirty Dancing on Stage for Christmas (we did it early) and I can see Bill cringe from here - it's pretty much a female type musical but he'll be a good sport and go so there won't be any feelings hurt!
So hoping to give him something he will like, I got us tickets to go to the Science Centre for an Artifact Exhibition of the Titanic.
Do you think one will offset the other? I'm hoping so.

Carol, I have met Bill only briefly but I can see the color of his face from here when he saw the tickets to Dirty Dancing. 
On the other hand, The Titanic Exhibit was a great choice. I have not been to the Science Center since I was in school but it was alway's a school trip that I loved to go to.
Don't forget to touch the "static ball" and make your hair stand on end! That is one of few memories of the place, especially this kid Matt in our class that had this huge hair, my god I can still see him now!!!
