Here for you

Peace on Earth
Good will to men.
A child at birth
Will need a friend.

Cherish the time
Your friends remain true.
Playful when young
Those things you can do.

Dreams from the heart
Hopes with the soul.
Screams in my head
Your life is still whole.

When age beats you down
You have times to recall.
While thoughts may fade
Take a walk down the hall.

Your life on display
For you to see.
Flash back to you
This was not free.

You paid over time
For memories lost.
Why did you forget
How much was the cost.

Believe the wall
It is based in fact.
Pieces of a puzzle
Your mind can reenact.

Good night to you
For the rest you have earned.
Sweet dreams from us
Through you we have learned.

I am often amazed how some one who comes off as such a cut-up, slap-stick character, has such a command with words.  Wonderful.

Religion and sex are powerplays. Manipulate the people for the money they pay. Selling skin, selling God, the numbers look the same on their credit cards. Triptans cause rebounds. Learn it, believe it, live it. I use triptans as the absolute LAST RESORT when treating my CH.

My Father-in-law died of dementia and lung cancer two years ago.  It was rough watching him slip away from us mentally.  There were many times he'd see the pictures of his life in the hall and ask who was in the photos.

This really touched my heart Mike.  I'm not sure if that was the target but that's how it spoke to me.  Thanks for sharing.
