Ever have one of those days........

where things couldn't possibly get worse...... and then they do?
Woke up this morning to a dead battery on the "loner" car I have until my car get repaired. So brother in law came an jumped it. Off to work I go...... get to work 45 minutes late and the server doesn't recognize my computer or profile. Cant log in therefore can work. 
I some how made it through the to lunch time..... and go to leave DEAD CAR AGAIN. Call dad and he comes and jumps it. WHOOO HOOO off to the races. Shut the hood and have to squeeze between the car and a tree and low and behold ....
A crazy branch reached out and tore the a$$ of my favorite jeans.
Super long story short.. went home put on the tight jeans that I hate and car died twice on the way back to work... WTF.
So here I sit wondering where it all went wrong.
Definately needing some good luck vibes if ya have any.

Maybe if you had been on time... you might have been in a horrible accident.
Maybe if you were able to log onto your computer you might have opened that rogue email with the horrible virus that ultimately cost you your job.
Maybe you really needed to see your brother-in-law and father today.
Maybe it is the universe trying to tell you that it's okay to shop for a new pair of jeans.
Maybe you needed a shake up from your regular routine for a change just to let you know God is still thinking of you. (I think he secretly likes the attention, and throws us these things every now and then to open up dialogue.)

Yah we are locked in a tiny room without contact to the outside so we can where what ever we wanna.

On Friday... my day started with being let go from work, followed by the news that our 8th in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle has failed (so kiss another $10 grand goodbye). Wife is chock full of fake hormones just to put icing on the cake.
It only got worse from there. It was a spectacular day.
I wish I had just a dead battery to worry about.
Today is a new day.

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time right now and I didn't mean to come across like my life was going to come to an end because of a dead battery. I too have crappy medical issues going on right now along with other things, hence this being the "cherry" on top.
My only point was that sometimes it feels like just when things couldn't get any worse they can find a way and honestly... I am trying to find any humor possible in it.
Hope thinks get better for you ...and all of us.

Yeah, I hear ya, Aubmari. I wasn't trying to 'one up' you, just trying to point out some days can seem really bad, but it could always be worse.
Point of fact, I find it hard to be depressed about stuff like this. I know that if I need something, the universe will provide it. Do you want to know something incredibly eerie? As I was typing this post, the mail came. The postman is really cool, he comes all the way down the driveway to deliver boxes... anyway, as I was typing, the doorbell rings, it's the postman. A couple of xmas packages arrived (my wife ordered something from Amazon). In the mail was a letter from the California State Controller... it was a $822 refund check that was a total surprise. Seriously.
The point I was *trying* to make before I got interrupted by the postman was that bthe universe has a perfect record of providing "what I need" whether it is good news or bad news. Sometimes I don't like what I need, but it all works out in the end. Always.

You know, if you have 2 donuts, then nothing is wrong - according to my mother "have a donut"  is the answer to all problems!  (And I quit eating things like that 3 years ago! )
