is actually quite nice! If I were back home in upstate NY I would be dealing with the aftermath of last weeks storm and temps that didn't get above 30 deg all week. The worst here has been rain. We are taking a slow day today so I can recover from being up almost 48 hours straight. Dinner tonight will be braized pork lamb chops, steamed brocoli, cauliflower and carrots with roast parsnips with parmasean and braized red cabbage. I'm feeling brave so I'm going to dig in If I'm not heard from again........... -P. edit: I got my meat wrong!

Glad you made it there safe and sound Paul. Give all of my CH family a huge hug from me... and remember, if you put a broom outside of the door and put a small sack of salt on each of the window sills a witch will not be able to enter. So... be a champ and don't do any of those things... seeing that it's raining there... I heard witches melt when you add water. with warm regards, Tony

Paul and Helen, at least you don't have to get up extra early and shovel rain! It seems like it is every day we have to get out and clean the driveway out from the snow Hope you two have a great time together.

| Since our good friends in England have not posted any pics, I contacted a local Private Investigator. She sent the following pics from the last couple of days. Helen on her way to the airport..... Helen's personal AirForce was sent to escort Paul's plane...... Paul's flight arrives..... Paul standing beside Helen's favorite food store..... Home again....... Paul snacks on recently purchased food....... The heat from the kitchen proves too much for some...... Paul experienced some of the local rituals...... Paul disappeared.....the search begins....... There he is!

OMFG Bill. I'm diying here laughing so hard. Helen is zonked out so I have taken it upon myself to fix dinner. I don't know many of the strange spices she has so I'm just going to wing it. Payback is a bitch Clear skies here today and the temps were in the 40's so I consider it "T" shirt weather. Thanks for the laugh Bill. THAT was funny! -P.
