I paid the $55 or whatever it was to see Mayweather / de la Hoya earlier this year and what a ripoff that turned out to be. They looked like they were just trying to get thru it without hurting each other. Boxing just ain't what it used to be and that's why these days I'd rather watch Ultimate fighting. enjoy the fight, Jim

| For sure, he's pretty much turned it into a circus. I say have them fight as winner take all and maybe give the loser enough to cover his expenses. If they cut out the guaranteed money we'll start seeing some real fights.

There were too many ties with DeLaHoya and Mayweather. I have watched this thing from the start and I honestly believe that Hatton has what it takes to beat Mayweather. Floyd is a great fighter but when you put pressure on him he retreats. Oscar was beating him--then--stopped applying the pressure and the outcome was inevitable. Hatton has a unique style that is something Mayweather hasn't seen, or reacted to. I'm probably wrong but I think you're going to see Floyd Mayweather come out flashy, quick and all--but when he absorbs a big hit he won't know how to handle it. Call me a sucker but I 'm going to pay the tab to see this.

totally agree zwibbs.. hatton does have the heart and tools. 4am in england.....my party will just be in the swing of things by then £14.95 ...worth every penny.... after this fight, cant see much out there in any weight division...that will grab my imagination like this one. hey sean c like the idea of winner takes all . jdh i agree about mr troll (don king)...but i also think the fact that there is several different belts (wbo, wbc , ibf ..etc ) maybe each weight should have 1 belt only. the world needs another hagler.

| I LOVE UFC! I was disappointed to see that Matt Serra is hurt, so now Matt Hughes is fighting George St. Pierre on the 29th. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night to see who wins the contract on Ultimate Fighter. It's a good match up!

I've followed Hatton for a few years. I love the fact that he eats like a slob ( and drinks ) after every fight.Puts on alot of weight..and turns into Ricky Fatten.

If any one can beat him, Hatton can, he only has one style of boxing hit 'em hard, then hit 'em harder. Out of interest, he was 2 pounds over the weight limit a week ago, that tells me he has trained harder than ever before. Hope he does, will be good for boxing.

In this household, we are heading to bed now (after watching a warm up fight between Khan and Earl - what a waste of time that was!). Alarms are set for 3.15 am and we're going to get up to watch it. Can't possibly miss what looks to be the fight of a lifetime! Em

Sorry York. I thought Mayweather fought perfectly --cautious, tying up Hattn--then let it all hang out in the final three rounds. Hatton did good, but he should have gone into the corners with a vengeance. He should have tried to block any holding by Mayweather. In the end I guess Mayweather is really that good. Best pound for pound. The only problem is I am know walking around my house singing the Ricky Hatton song. No matter the outcome I can tell you without a shadow of doubt....The British fans had a great time............Now I am proposing a pay for view Me Vs. Linda Howell.....It's an East Coast West Coast thing. And Cathi is my trainer.
