Riding In Our Santa Claus Parade Today
« on: Dec 2nd, 2007, 8:53am »

We got together last night with our mountain bike group ride friends for a potluck dinner that we are going to have once a month during our winter season. We made DVD's of our riding from this past summer and gave them to all our rider's, they loved it! Grin

Angie and I were tricked into riding in today's parade on our bikes for the Ecclestone Cycling team that we are a part of. Funny after a couple of beers what one will agree to.

Here is a pic of what our weather is like today, I took this about 5 minutes ago.

WISH US LUCK!!! laugh

We are under a winter storm warning right now! Tongue

I hope you have foul weather riding gear!  You're gonna need it  Shocked  How about putting some sheet metal screws in the tires for traction?  Be careful Barry.

It is a little hard to take pics while riding on snow and ice. Here are some shots of our group. It was very cold.
This is our group minus me, I am on the camera.

This our newest young member.

That's me trying to get a drink of my now frozen water.

Here's the mini bike, now that's crazy.

Last pic, Angie frozen, we are heading home.

That was our 1st time ever doing this and it was fun. We plan on doing this each year from now on. Hope you enjoy a little piece of our day.

I've never seen the baby carrier that goes alongside the bike. No more roostertail spray for junior!

Look out for those mailboxes, though!

I just took a closer look at the rest of the photos and noticed that the "Grinch" was close to getting zapped by those power lines. We travel this street all the time and those lines are fairly low.

Come to think about it, that was the last time I saw him!! I hope he is ok. laugh laugh
