Back to normal.... well .....

The last of my holiday company is leaving this morning...

It was a great holiday -- too much food, lots of great company and too much food!!!

Had a nephew and his family come Wednesday and I think they're leaving this morning. Two kids 2 and 12. My kids were here and it was total chaos (the way the holidays should be).

The big kids drank entirely too much alcoholic beverages and the little kids ate entirely too much sugar and everyone was silly as can be and totally hyper. No one got a lot of sleep, but we did get a lot of world problems solved and a lot of visiting in. I had forgotten how many times a day a 2 year old can "poop", but little Jacob reminded me. Bless you children with "young" ones. And his favorite thing was letting the "WET" doggies in the house! (Of course it RAINED -- we had THREE kids in the house!!!)

Anyhow, I hope everyone had a great holiday and gets a lot of rest before Christmas. We have the tree up and the kids have decorated it several time cause Jacob thought it was funny to take the decorations OFF as soon as Caleb and Jonathan put them on... He finally got to the point, he'd take one off and hold it up to me and say, "NO!" - not a dumb kid at all.  Grin But then he'd give me a "kissy" and all was forgiven (ok, so I'm a pushover...).

Today, I've got a few things to do and then I'm cleaning out the fridge -- I'm SICK of food!!! Think I'll have a nice bowl of Campbell's soup tonight.... and NO dessert!!!

Hugs BD

I need a ticket to that house on the hill, Barb's Funhouse.  Sounds like all three rings were going at the circus.

The little kids will remember Auntie Barb's holiday a long time.   Wink   The big kids will need pictures to remember.  Grin

Sounds like it was just as it should be. Grin  But for us, take the number of kids and add 7 plus drunk sister-in-laws. Roll Eyes

Thanks for sharing Barb, always like to hear how others do it. Smiley

Glad to read you had a great time Barb. Cheesy, Ours was a lot calmer, as much as it can be with a chatter box for a daughter who would not let us hear a thing of the movies we tried to watch  Roll Eyes..
oh but everything was different at the movies to see "Enchanted" there she was quiet, all eyes and attention to the movie  Smiley...a nice movie, lots of eye candy too  Wink.

Glad to hear you had such a good time Barb. We only had one 6 year old girl (sorta a neice) to dance a lot and watch the toon channel between plays and make us cool paper jewelry. I had the best stuffing I ever had and though. It was a great day.  Cool
