What are you thankful for:

Quote Quote Modify Modify

I'll start:

Two families to care about. One of them biological.  One through a shared pain.

enough food that I am not hungry on any day of the year.

enough money that I can sometimes help others.

 enough intelligence.
 enough  health
 enough...

I am thankful for:

My family here.

My biological family, especially my parents who are always there for me, no matter what.

My boyfriend who is very patient and always makes me smile, even when he is making fun of me!

My cat and my dog.

Having a job that I love and the fact that I will always have a job as a nurse.

I am thankful for the good days, or even the good minutes, when the pain is less and I feel okay - even though my bf says that I jinx myself (I do not believe this!), I still like to be appreciative for the good times....they make the bad times a little less bad.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my biological family, some health issues that came out ok , having the will power to pay off all my debts, ( it's a miracle). Having friends like you Linda, whom I've never met, but know in my heart that you are all such loving and caring people. What more could you ask for.

Honestly, this sounds corny...but a more accurate question for me, is what am I NOT thankful for....

My soft blankets...my slippers...finally getting a car...

My husband, my daughter, my parents, my friends...food..for the gift of being able to celebrate Thanksgiving with my my family....there's so much I lost...and this year, has been the year I've been richly blessed after many years of "learning"...

For Linda, who makes me stick around off cycle, after finally convincing me posting couldn't possibly start a cycle, for all of you for being my second family, and of course for my wife and brat daughters, the "first" family. I am truly a blessed man.

Linda, that's a very loaded question... Wink

I'm thankful for:

Sticking around,
for my adopted families,
for Mike posting Justin Wilson's Sweet Potato Pie recipe a few years back Grin,
for a beautiful home & cozy fireplace,
for my husband who amazingly hasn't left me in over 13 yrs,
for my daughter Lily & son Eli,
for this little one who'll be gracing me with her life in March,
for my husband's family who've accepted me as their own,
for the little handprints all over the mirrors & windows,
for glue smeared all over my coffee table because Eli made a snowman out of popsicle sticks,
for the fact Jesse & mine life has turned out so beautiful,
for electricity, gas, heat, a stove, fridge, washer & dryer,
for my husband's job that he still has even though it's hardened him through the years,
for the peace and quiet of a winter's morning having coffee and watching the snowbirds eat,
for kleenex,
for having common sense,
for the soldiers risking their lives to protect mine,

I could go on, and on, and on....
