For those of you OLD TIMERS (to TV that is) Mr. Wimple ("Don't Squeeze the Charmin'" died yesterday.
For those of you youngins - you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, but Charlie and Bob G remember him.
RIP Mr. Wimple -- I squeezed a lot of Charmin' just to aggraviate you.....

Yep - Wilson was his REAL name, but I went back and changed it to Wimple -- they were saying Wilson on the news -- I'm old - give me a break......
PS Did you squeeze the Charmin' Chewy -- bet you did when no one was lookin'

I remember Mr. Whipple....I'm old.
If this aging thing continues (and it shows no signs of letting up) who knows? Maybe I'll eventually remember Pinky Lee--and Pinky Lee, of course, is best forgotten.

I think Mr. Whipple (the character, not the actor) was a perv, hiding behind big pallets of toilet paper, watching women squeeze things and getting all excited.
He should have been the spokesman for Hillshire Farms.
