My cycle is about over

For the last week I've had fewer CH & they have not been as intense. PFNs for the most part. The 02 worked well for me & I'll use it again next year. I can even have a small drink without at immediate visit from the beast. My question is, since I've had cycles mid Oct. to mid Nov. for three years straignt now, do sufferers ever "ramp up" to more than one cycle per year, or is it fairly stable?

I'm glad the beast is getting tired of torturing you and hope he leaves quickly. My cycles have morphed often. Recently becoming more intense. With my new found family and new weapons it was easier to bear this time. Unfortunately everyone's experience is different. No one can tell what the future holds for you. All you can do is be informed and prepared for his next visit. When he comes, fight him with all you have. Then enjoy the PF time you get as a reward. Wishing you many PFDAN. -Dennis-

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Glad the beast has his bags packed and is heading for the door! Clusterheadaches are anything BUT stable. I went from yearly visits from the beast only in the winter months, to getting them every year and a half, but for longer periods of time. They CAN change, but don't always do it. Just be prepared to fight it whenever it comes back. You know O2 helps now, and so does the doc that prescribed it for you, so it shouldn't be too hard to get it quickly next time. Enjoy your PF time as long as you have it!! Adam

| Mine were like clockwork. October and March or April. Stable?....I belonged in one at the time. Continued good luck. Charlie

Can't say. That being said, mine have been like Charlie's. You could set a clock (or at least a calendar) by them. Best, George

Mine started Oct and April. Switched to just October for about 15 years. The last two started late July/Aug.

mine have been very regular so far, always 3 months between january and may, no before or after so I try to be prepare for that time. Before I had two cycles and very little break like only the summer months as soon fall begun so did the pain. I am just glad I have one cycle now. I even planned my wedding to be in summer so I knew I could count on being pain free. But with the pregnancy was different, it wasn't planned so I had to face a new baby born on march and being in a full cycle
