Yes, you do have to love Kindergaten art!!! I teach elementary art and love my kindergarten classes. So much interest. Their hands are going before their minds are engaged. Find a special place for that turkey so all can see it and he can be proud of it! Charlotte

Absolutely beautiful! I still take out the kindergarten art Lily made from the totes with the corresponding holiday and place them upon my kitchen cupboards. I think it's the bestest art out there!

THanks Im not cheap Im economical. The fake harvest leaves where on sale at walmart for .15 cents a bunch and red tissue paper worked great for the neck and head. The most I sent on anything was the eye cause he wanted a blue heart for the eye. The neck he had a blast with, cause I remembered in elementary school cutting tissue paper into squares and twisting them around the eraser of a pencel and glueing them down. He thoguth that was pretty cool.

Was this a home project? If so, I don't feel so bad. I was wondering how one art teacher could do such wonderful quality, especially the leaves, with so many little ones. I hope you get to see everyone elses projects too. What are the feet made of? It looks like colored sand? You can do the tissue technique lots of different times. Cut out a tag board Easter Egg or a Shamrock and fill the same with tissue. A wreath for Christmas with green and then a bow? Charlotte

on one of the Leave bunches there was fern type branch that they had coated with tan colored sand or something . So he said they looked like feet. Yes it was a home project took us about 1.5 hours the first night to get aboue 2/3 of the leaves done, then let it dry for a day, with a heavy book on it to make them lay a little flatter. And then finished the next night.
