Cell nums sold to telemarketers True or False?

I don't usually pass on public announcements like this, but just in case you've seen the warning that U.S. cell phone numbers went up for sale to telemarketers on 30 Oct 2007... THAT IS NOT QUITE TRUE!!! If you've registered you cell phone numbers with the FTCs NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY... They're still safe... See the following... http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2007/10/dnctestimony.shtm Having said this... If you've NOT registered your cell phone number with the FTC's NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY... YOU SHOULD. New cell phone numbers are at risk and there's no telling what the liberal run congress will do to fund their social agenda... Play a safe and register any new cell phone numbers. It's easy... Call the following number and follow the directions. 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time It blocks your number for five (5) years against unwanted telemarketers. You must call from the cellphone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number. As Paul Harvey would say... "Now... For The Rest of the Story"... You'll still get calls from "EXEMPT" organizations... Such exempt organizations include entities that engage in outbound telephone calls to consumers to induce charitable contributions, for political fund raising, or to conduct surveys. They also include entities engaged solely in calls to persons with whom they have an established business relationship or from whom they have obtained express written agreement to call, as defined by the Rule, and who do not access the National Registry for any other purpose. <>

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, not any before nor after, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. Man has one virginity to lose in fighters, and if it is a lovely airplane he loses it to, there is where his heart will forever be.

Thanks for the info used it on my cell as soonas I saw your post. Don't know about the Liberal slant though, Reps John Dingell & Billy Tauzin wrote the bill and they are both Dems.

I fell victim to the same knee-jerk reaction and re-registered both our cell phones, then decided to do some checking… It turns out I’d registered both cell phones in 2003 when the National Do Not Call Registry went into effect, so both numbers were still safe. Regarding Reps John Dingell & Billy Tauzin … You’re most correct… There are a few good Democrats around that hail from the party of Harry Truman, Jack Kennedy, and Scoop Jackson… but darn few… The far liberal left now in control of the party has repeatedly shown a propensity to eat their own like rabid hyenas if they stray from the pack… Just look what they did to Senator Joe Liebermann in the last election… and he was the party’s choice for VP two years earlier… And if you think the lib’s are not going to do everything they can to fund their socialist agenda, just look what Charlie Wrangel is up to with his Mother Of All Tax Hikes. That clever rascal is going to tax the crap out of you then tax that too…

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
