In a Super Rush but...

Wanted to post this.
After firing my old doc, I have a friend who has coordinated a TEAM of doctors, to get me back  into mainstream life. I found out I have several degenerated discs in upper and lower spine...the left leg is longer than the other, and after 4 weeks of physical therapy, have to be fitted for special shoes to keep me balanced.

I had an appointment for consultation at the Sleep Clinic.
Right in front of the neuro, I ramped up to a level kip 9 within minutes, huffed down half a D tank, and ate a frova (nassssty.)

My friend Mike has seen me get hit way too many times now, so is helping me as an advocate to get to the bottom of this.

Since the sleep clinic neuro seen this herself (It was one wicked fucking attack that hit FAST) I will be getting a push into the new neuros office. I go to the sleep clinic Dec 5th for a sleep study. I am on the cancellation list, so might get in quicker.

That is what is good for now. I have plenty of o2, and Frova, in massive fucking pain so just sucking down vodka for the night, since I start the Halloween Radio show in 52 minutes until 4am central, 5am eastern. - Yeah, one long ass show, doing a 2 hour simulcast.... but have bigwhigs from ClearChannel listening in for the next two weeks. So I am working hard on these shows. Tonight is a mindfuck and a half, but back to work.

Just wanted to let y'all kknow a trained pro saw the hardcore attack - which was #4 since midnight. So maybe, MAYBE I can get this back under control before I start school (going to Ranken Tech soon.)

Frazzled and stressed to the mighty core,
Carl

PS - Things are looking up at this point unless the carpet gets ripped or burned from under me....
...off to work.

It'll take more than a special pair of shoes to keep YOU balanced, ya freak!   LMAO  laugh

Hey, Carl.  I am glad to hear you have so much good coming your way.  It's about damn time.  You've come a long way baby!  I hope it only gets better for you.

Good luck with the radio shows.  Maybe ClearChannel will make you an offer you can't refuse.

Wishing you the best of PF times,

Mike

I don't know if alcohol affects chronics the same, but vodka, all night show, and bigwigs watching -- sounds like a stunt pilot barnstorming through a morning mountain mist.

I'll agree with Gator here.   Grin

Thanks Gator. I hope and pray I get picked up, because right now I am having a fit trying to find a job, but have to resolve issues with physical therap 3x a week, and in 4 weeks get fitted for special shoes since my right leg is shorter, and on this body weight distribution scale, the left leg was 56 pounds and the right leg... 127 pounds!
So this is explaining many of the issues I've had, and my buddy Mike is an engineer and problem solver. After seeing what I've been going through, he began helping me search for a better primary than the one who almost killed me twice, a new neuro, into the sleep clinic, and after seeing what I went through with the o2 gestapo in town called Praxair in St Louis  - and like I've said, they deliver!

No, but as you have reminded me in the past, we are all a bit different. Some people can drink beer no problem. Others it is an instant trigger. And I wasn't drinking to cope with CH pain, my shoulder and leg were killing me from physical therapy and couldn't get my pain meds or Celebrex til today.

For myself, most alcohol doesn't trigger me, but smokey bars do. There are two things I cannot drink and that is Brandy and Red full bodied wine.

Right now, Mike and I have noticed when the air is blowing the hydrocarbons from the plant down the road away from my building I get hit less. Whe it is blowing my way, I get hit alot. The hydrocarbons seem to be a trigger for me, along with carpeting glue, and too strong of an incense odor with no windows open. That's my main triggers.

Oh, and this is day one of using Chantix - the new wonder cure for smoking. You start taking it while you are still smoking, and once you taper up after a few days, the desire and crave is supposed to go way down until you eventually don't want one. I was surprised my insurance covered it and it does, with a $5 copay. The doc also said the percentage of people who have quit is higher when you take it for 2-3 months, then taper down.

So there are alot of positive things happening, and it has been a weight off of my already sagging shoulders to have a good friend , instead of telling me whats wrong, he wants to find the solution instead of just treat the symptoms. With a little luck, 2008 may be a very good year for me. It's about damn time too.

Peace,
Carl
