Well, I've had enough of this one. We've been putting up with shit from this guy for far too long and he's finally crossed the line.

Let me tell you something: I find that there are many good posts on the website that can be helpful for those with CH. As for myself, having had chronic CH for 14 years, tried every medicine in the book (I will not try mushrooms or LSD or other hallucinogenics) and underwent DBS surgery two years ago in Kiel, Germany (which, unfortunately, did not work), I think that I have a right to be a member of the OUCH board. I have never personally attacked anyone nor used obscene language in my posts, yet I am forced to use different names to get back on because you continually remove me from the board. I do not recommend bizarre treatments for CH nor the use of illegal drugs-and I find it interesting that the use of illegal drugs is encouraged by certain members without any valid scientific proof that they work and the fact that some of the members of that alternative treatment committee are from Harvard does not impress me-remember Timothy Leary?
It appears that the most common objections to some of my posts have to do with my condemnation of racism, most recently against "illegal" Hispanics. Just yesterday your friend Jonny posted several links which were nothing more than racist rants and he posted one, no doubt because he didn't read it, that totally disproved the allegations that Governor Schwarzenegger signed legislation forbidding the use of "mom" and "dad" in public schools and allowed male and female students to use either male or female toilet, even if a member of the opposite sex were in it at the time-all totally false, just as the rantings about Hispanics being responsible for some fictional "crime wave" taking place in LA as well as the nonsense about 95% of outstanding homicide warrents were for Hispanics. Despite this nonsense that is published on the site, I do not see you, as the site administrator, taking any action against these false, racist rants.
A number of people who have had the DBS surgery have been driven off the board because of the vicious attacks made against them-if you don't know, only one person has died after the operation, in Belgium 4 years ago and the cause of her death is not known-yet you allow to be published inaccurate posts about the surgery and, repeating myself, people have been driven off the board just because they had the surgery and wanted to share their experience. These people who had the operation made a very difficult choice and in my book are heros, but on the board they are either liars or idiots.
Your friend Jonny is one of the worst offenders when it comes to inaccuracy, racist posts and use of obscene language. I am sure that if I posted some of the things that he did I would be thrown off the site. I don't understand you. The fact that you established and administered the website tells me that you want to help people who have our horrible condition, yet you allow unsubtantiated information to be published as fact, allow personal attacks upon people who have done nothing more than share their experience with certain forms of treatment, particularly DBS surgery and allow blatently racist postings. You now have a young child-do you want him to grow up to be a racist? I wonder how Antonio and Chuck, two very decent people from what I can tell from their writings, put up with the vicious anti-homosexual "jokes"-I wonder about the mental state of those who post such things. A few months ago Jonny published several homophobic pictures that showed a man with a (poorly, I might add) erect penis in his mouth, accompanied by more anti-homosexual postings. In my field of psychology, one would interpret such postings and pictures as a possible indication that the person who made them has some serious personal problems with the issue and in any case has some serious personal problems.
I recommend to you to look at what is being posted on the site and decide if it is appropriate, decent and does anything to help those with CH, or is the "General" category a place where people can write whatever their depraved minds desire to.
I will end here. I urge you to take a deep, long look at what is going on with the board and think about making some changes. Perhaps if you announced that no more racist or homophobic or personal attacks will be allowed would be a good start. I'm sure that you would lose some members, but I think that the quality of the board would improve. If you read German, or know someone who does, check out CK-Wissen, the German CH site. They put out good information and I haven't seen any personal or racist attacks posted there.
I would like to hear back from you and would like your opinion on what I have written. You have done a lot of good in helping people with our illness and I think that you can do more by eliminating the racism and other falsehoods that get published. Obviously you cannot check everything out, but some things are too obvious to miss. By the way, congatualtions of the birth of your child to you and your wife.

I thought being blocked means you cant post but can still read as guest?
I have to say that he has a very clear pattern of behaviour: he would start out being nice and polite and even sound reasonable, then he would start pushing his views/ideas onto you, then if you dont agree with him he will get aggressive and abusive. The degree of the abuse escalates with time.
Guess what? That is the exact psychological pattern of thinking and behaviour of a serial abuser or murderer ie a psychopath.
You should watch your back if you associate with him in any way.

Thanks to this board (and DJ) I'm ALIVE today. Thanks to the HELPFUL people here, I'm almost SANE today! And thanks to everyone here I've got a lot of friends I didn't have 9 years ago when I thought I was alone with this horrible illness! And that's just ME -how many thousands of others feel the same way? Who the hell is he to judge anything? Thanks to DJ, we've been able to set our own pace here and discuss everything from headaches to politics, raising kids to Chuck's love life and anything else that came to mind. That's what FRIENDS do! That's also how NEW breakthrus for our illness is discovered (and how many new things have we discovered since this board has been set up?).
Over the years we've had bigots come here and some of our "family" has gotten their feelings hurt and have left - later the bigots left (not soon enough), but that was just the way things happened. But this guy just keeps coming back - but this time he's gone too far - when he says these things to DJ and Jonny.
If he'd even paid a "little" attention, he'd know we're very protective about our "boys" - oh we can make fun of them, but when someone else does it - WE take offense and you NEVER mess with "family" when someone puts down our own!
Insofar as bringing up DJ's family -- that's just totally unacceptable -- and grounds for if I ever meet this guy he's DUST!
Am I reading Ray's post right? Is this guy in Rochester NY? Haven't been there since 99 - might be time for another meeting in Dave's garage! In fact it might be time to put Dave to work - that's what he does - run's down deadbeats. Somethin' to think about. Told ya I was mad.....
DJ - you go hug Steph and the boys and don't worry about this jerk. If he bothers you again - let Jonny know and we'll take care of him....

Oh, and John (I know you are here as a guest and reading this), it may be a surprise to you to know, that I have met Jonny in real life, several times, and I consider him a dear friend. Someone I can rely on. Someone who I love DEARLY (as a brother) and whom I would place my life in his hands ... and KNOW that it is safe. He would do his utmost to make sure that I was safe, as I would do the exact same for him.
... And you obviously have absolutely NO CONCEPT of who is a decent human being and who isn't. Deej, his darling wife, and most everyone on this site, are good, kind, decent human beings. Deej being one of the most amazing, kindhearted, wonderful, thoughtful, considerate human beings on the face of this earth!
Go get the professional help that you so obviously need!

you know every time i went nose to nose with the troll we would ignore, wis mission was obvious he wanted to attack a few and ignored the others. the coward would never have a meet and greet as I requested several times. I even offered to be a friend and take him hog hunting. Oh well DJ thanks for banning him and Jonny thanks for being. Everyone here even when we dissagree knows we are here for each other. I would like to once more THANK EVERY ONE HERE! You are all family and I love each and everyone of you.
