Hey Helen? In that 1st. group of pics, I can see David vacationing there. Right near the sheer cliff face with nothing but jagged rocks below.

Those were great Helen. Looks like you had a blast. Great fall pics of the trees turning. Didn't know Paul was so fond of cats. Dave

Great pics, thanks Helen! I loved those views of the lake. Just beautiful. Just how many cats does Paul have? (Timo's best friend's family has 4 adult cats and about 8 kittens for the time being.) Hugs, Sanna

Jonny - with love - STFU! You know as well as I do that was posted whilst I was on my way home. Dorkboy has a lot to answer for All those cats are "outside cats" Paul has four inside cats but the outside ones are gorgeous to. Its a rolling count so although there are alot now, come Spring the population will have less than halved according to him. Its sad but there you go, I just hope my loyal little ones hang in there! Even that little black bugger LOL I took to calling him "Cannibal" since he was stalking and biting my toes every chance he got! The two little ginger ones were my particular favourites too. They used to climb up me and I have the marks to prove it and then their front legs would close around my neck and they would just snuggle.. I would dearly love to have been able to being them home with me. As for the colours - from the sky to the leaves Ihave never seen such intense colour in my life, it was breathtaking. I loved every minute of taking those pics!!

Beautiful pics, Helen. Makes me miss NY State so badly. Some of the pics of the lakes remind me of the Ashokan Reservoir. If you ever have a chance, I would highly recommend a visit to Woodstock, NY and Mohonk Mountain House. Here's a link to Mohonk Mountain House....such a beautiful place!!! http://www.mohonk.com/

I only looked at the Adirondacks in the Fall pics, but all I kept thinking of was, "the light! I must take this pic!" haha I'm going to show them to Jason - he has been pining away for Virginia where he went to school - the mountains and the leaves changing and all that. He wants to live somewhere just like that someday, and he's really going to like those! Glad you had such a great time!! Hugz, Carrie
