It's gonna snow! I swear it's gonna snow or somethin'!! Got home from grocery shopping, turned on Speed Channel and saw a bunch of Toyotas had qualified. What the heck is going on?

Superior technology, eh? Take a look at Michael Waltrip's Did Not Qualify record. I see those snow clouds forming in the distance.....oh wait, those aren't clouds. They are just a bunch of NASCAR Officials heading toward the Toyota garages.

I'm not even going to pretend to get into this with you, Cyn, cuz I don't know jack shit about NASCAR. What I do know is that there are two Toyotas sitting in my garage. Why? Because they're some of the most dependable cars I've ever found. Neither of them is on the NASCAR circuit, however.

No problem, Bill. I've heard they are fairly dependable cars. They are just not doing well in racing. Should be interesting to see how they do tomorrow at Dega.

Cool video, Jen. I remember watching that race...neighbors thought I was crazy from screaming so much. Also liked his "pass in the grass". Dale was one amazing driver.

Thanks Jen, my most favorite race ever! I have it on VHS and the "raced version" die-cast #100,003 of 110,003 on my shelf. Cyn, my neighbors were probably wondering the same thing here. I remember we had it cranked up pretty loud. Tomorrow will be even louder as I have got me some new speakers since then! Here are a couple pics of the die-cast I have of the last win for #3. Thanks Dale!!!! Barry

Cool car Barry! Did y'all see the lineup?? Michael Waltrip is the pole sitter with FIVE Toyotas in the top 6 positions! And wtf is NASCAR thinking by allowing Villeneuve to debut not only at Dega, but during the chase??????? This is gonna get ugly. What's your race day food lineup? Its barbequed ribs and twice baked taters here.

Good morning Jen. I agree, wtf is Villeneuve doing on this track during the "chase"? All we can do is hope he stays out of the way. Our race meal is Turkey and all the fixings, Angie is such a great cook. This is our Thanksgiving long weekend. We are having our friend Dave over (Gordon fan ). Enjoy the race!!! Barry

| I would do it in a second if it was doable. I will take a pic for you instead. What are you having for a Dega dinner? Barry

Thanks, Bill....I needed that!! Third cup of java is helping, too. Seriously need to get fully awake ASAP. I am going to meet Lisa (swimchica) and her Mom, Charlotte around 1:00....cool!! John has promised to record the beginning of Dega for me so I don't miss one minute of it while I'm lunching with the ladies.

Have a great meet Cyn. I heard a rumor you have a new Sony digital camera, right? Pics if you can please. Good to hear John is going to tape the beginning of the race for you, those first few laps give me goosebumps that last through out the whole race. Damn I love restrictor plate racing!! Say hi to Lisa and her mom for us. Barry

| Please tell Charlotte that we had our mail held while we were gone, so I don't know if I received my little gift to Pat yet. We'll be getting a week's worth tomorrow. Also, ask her if she got the check I sent. Thanks. Have fun, and say hi to Lisa and Charlotte for me!

Barry, I am still trying to figure out how to work my camera. It's not like my last point and shoot camera at all. John keeps telling me to take time to sit down and read the manual but the more I read, the more the Japanese/German/Spanish instructions make more sense to me. Guess that's not a good sign, is it? Bill, I will deliver your message and question to Charlotte and tell them that everyone says hello. Well, time to get motivated so I can get to the restaurant in time.

I have Sirius satellite radio at my shop and you can listen to the drivers talk to the pit crew. I have not listened to it but thought you folks would be interested.
