About stuff

Hello again, everyone.

I've figured something out about stuff i have posted on here lately.

I have been ranting in my last few forum posts.  Quite sad to rant, i think to myself.

But, as before *sighs*, I must do it again.

First off, it is about our dearly beloved government.
I know some people will be all, 'get over it already!', but i will say this:
How would you like your private life to be known by EVERYONE in those secret government programs?

The ACLU has started this clock thingy about a thing called the 'Surveillence Society'.  When last i looked, it was 'six minutes to midnight' for it.
Ladies and gentlemen, may i present the man who would oh so love this program to be brought about?
Enter, GEORGE W. BUSH.
Yes, him.  He thinks because he is in the highest office in the country, that he can bend and break the rules and lwas of our country whenever he likes.  And if this program does come into being, then he'll know everything there is to know about EVERYONE, from where they work, down to if they have sex two or three times a night.

I was thinking of messaging Senator feingold (yes, WI's own) to talk to Congress and see if they can to anything to stop such a thing.  I mean, they can put it on criminals who had a federal punishment and other high ranking criminals, but when it comes down to average people, that's where the line should be drawn.

and now:  Gay rights.  Yep, the whole thing comes back around.

(I can't believe i'm bringing up such touchy topics.  I always seem to do that.)

I can deal with you not being straight or gay.  I can't, however, deal with the fact that people are trying to FORCE gays into being straight.  It's utterly uncalled for, and demeaning.  Banning gay marrage is like banning either the Bible or Harry Potter from schools.  It just doesn't work out.  If you ban one kind of marraige, then ban the other.  HONESTLY, if you can't live with one or the other, than get rid of both.  This issue has divided the country for some time now, and it should be addressed  that if one DOES go, thn so should the other.

It's another 'legal' form of discrimination and conversion.  If no one can see that, then they are just (either) mentally blind, or so closed minded that the only thing they want to accept is what they want to happen to others.  I don't think that came out right, but now i don't really care.

And on a lighter note, I have printed off two chapters of my Series, "Legend of the Areain" and my horror story, "Solemn Creek" and let my friends read them.  I even  let the head librarian read my horror story.  She said it was great, along with the others who read it.  Even the fantasy was good.  I WILL BECOME A WRITTER!  BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

And, i've been working on a theory on the 'New Age revival'.  I'm still working on getting the kinks out of the first copy, though.  It's really something to read.  heh heh heh ^^;

Well, i hope you all have a better day.

Well....

The thing is that government has always been spying on us and usually getting away with it. It goes back to its inception. BUT.....there is no effen reason to make it legal. Technically, we are able to sue and or arrest these bashtards for now but Dubya's string pulling pals have managed to destroy the Republican Party by advocating this shit. This is fine with me as there isn't a GOP thanks to him. It's a dangerous bunch that relies on fear and fear itself to stay in power.

As for gay marriage: Democrats and liberals need to shut up about it until after elections. I don't get why the left shoot themselves in the foot by letting the far right use it as a vote getter. It's probably why some gay bashing pulpit-pounders sneak by in close races. So far, it's a liability and lets the wrong side use it to its advantage. We need to get liberals elected in order to keep the Dobsons and Roberstons from running the country. Sadly

You almost never can with national elections with it but you can definitely lose them.

For now.

It's really very simple Blood Redd

These are matters of Constitutionality.
All the latest "surveillance" issues haven't even been addressed in the Supreme Court...as far as I know.

Personally, I think The Founding Fathers would vote NO to much of what is going on.

I don't believe George Bush is plotting some evil thing. I think he is just misguided. However Feingold has been trashing my 2nd amendment rights for a while now. I doubt he too is evil. I think he is just wrong.

As far as gay rights go...heres your Constitutional answer: "Equal protection under the law"
Just that simple. Forget about the fact that I have 2 friends here who are gay. Two of the koolest people I know !!! That is never my type of argument...cause some will simply just not understand it. Stick to the rights we are ALL guaranteed by our Constitution and you cant go wrong !!!
Just like my 2nd rights, people argue these things on an "emotional level" This is bad. All these debates should be done on a Constitutional law level.

That is why so many un-Constitutional things have gotten passed right by the very public that they were supposed to protect.

See, I may not always like the outcome myself, I just have to live with that. But if The Constitution is followed correctly, we all live in a place that protects our rights....just that simple.

Charlie is probably right as it relates to shutting up or it will cost them votes.

That EXACTLY, to me,  is what is so sad about how we do things today.  Screw the rights of the people, we just gotta win this thing!!!! Let's not say a word about it cause it might cost us votes !!!
But I live in the real world, I understand why this occurs and will continue to occur.
I vote Constitutionalist or Libertarian party when I can. When I cant...I vote for cheese-whiz.
I don't care if the rationale is "you'll throw your vote away"
This type of thinking is part of what got us where we are today !!!

Cheers, Dave

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"
