Well, you're obviously in a very different part of the country--lots of species I don't recognize.  The black-winged one with the neon-green stripe on the wings is particularly striking.

Nop, I was right here in the States. At the Butterfly Pavillion in the Museum of Natural Science here in Houston, TX. Nice place, We had a great time and my daughter love to see so many butterflies together.  Smiley

My favorite is the Monarch, especially during the migration season.  They make a wonderful colorful fall stew.

They do  Smiley, I have been at the sanctuary in Michoacan, Mexico and was amazing! I will love to have the chance to get my daughter there some time. The trees are full of Monarchs!  Cheesy

yeah that is the place! One of my Aunt's family is from that state and in our way to visit them We stop by the sanctuary. Nice beautiful place! and the weather is not bad at all.  Smiley

There are some beautiful photos here guys!
 
Last year I visited the butterfly house in Niagara Falls and really loved it. None of my photos came as as lovely as yours though.
