October 1st already...where'd the year go? When I found out we were pregnant August couldn't get here fast enough and now Conner just had his 7th birthday Thursday and Brandon is 8 weeks old tomorrow...they really do grow up too fast!!
Since it is October 1st, the CNN Hero nominations are closed. I want to thank each and every one of you that took time out of your schedule to work on your nomination. I'm really hoping that we hear something from this...it would just be amazing. However, if we don't get word, he has already been nominated by this community and moyamoya.com, that is enough for his heart. I will definatly keep you all informed.
I snapped a couple pictures Saturday of Brandon giggling with daddy...too precious!!! He's getting so big, he has outgrown his bassinet and went to the "big boy" bed last night in his room. I think...no, I know it was harder on me than it was on him...still slept 7 hours LOL He also thinks he's a big boy...lifting his head up 90 degrees...next he'll be off to Stanford...

Well, regardless of what CNN thinks, DJ will always be a hero in my book.

CNN will do what they do--but DJ is a TRUE hero to all of us, no matter who recognizes that outside the CH community.

Man, a picture with two people in it and I have more hair than both, thats pretty dang rare........ I hope DJ gets it because he truly deserves it, thats a fact thousands can contest to. He he doesn't get it, he knows we LOVE him, when I think of the lives he has helped, I am in awe. Hats off to both of you with many many thanks.

DJ is my hero whether he is nominated or not, this guy saved me from lord knows what. Like most of us here DJ gave us a place to be with our own and speaking for myself I am not alone with this anymore and that has made him my personal hero.
