So we've been sick . .(Updated)

and we left this morning on vacation.
Coughing and sputtering and sneezing for 11 hours of driving . . . . .sucking on cough drops and drinking coffee and generally just trying to make it to our destination.
And guess who's at the end of the rainbow . . .the first to behold our lovely red noses and coughing and sneezes???
We are honored that Jimi and Ruthie provided a lovely meal and true Southern hospitality to the Brewcrew in our current state.
More to come through the week.

Well Mosaic...tell your hubby my Padres tanked...your damned Brewers kicked their butts and have forced a one game playoff for the wild card slot with Colorado....One game...we had to win ONE FREAKING game............sigh....so tell him...I understand when your team collapses!!! Here I was, about to mow the yard, and I hear coughing coming from 2 blocks away, I look up and see a car pulling into the driveway, snot all over the windows and it's Brew and his crew wanting to know if they can spend 3 days with us. Being from the south, thats what we do. So I have them sleeping in my bed while I sleep on the floor. It took a little getting use to for them to be comfortable in our outhouse, even though we were the first on our block to have a 2 holer. Now I gotta see if I can keep them from getting their ass kicked since they ain't from around here.

4 weeks plus two personal days and two floating holidays. Next year I go up a week to 5 weeks plus the personals and floaters.
