For those who enjoy racing, here's a link to our pics from the week we spent at Dover Speedway from Sept. 18th thru Sept. 24th. http://s230.photobucket.com/albums/ee71/cas_88/?start=0 We made lots of great new friends, enjoyed way too much food and happy hours, got sunburned, had sore feet from so much walking to and from the track every day.....and had an absolute blast!!!! A few of the pics were taken with my new toy, binoculars with a built in digital camera...the quality isn't great but at least we figured out how to dowload them...talk about a pain in the arse. The rest of the pics were taken with my new camera which I am still trying to learn how to use. So many bells and whistles on it...sheesh! I am so confused!! Enjoy!

As I said before, Barry and Angie, I hope that the two of you can come with us to the races next year. I know you would really enjoy them.

Kool pics!!! R. Lee Ermey too. I like his show "mail call" He gets to try out all the newest and best hardware the military has to offer as well as some old classic rifles. I even saw him in a comedy movie where he was funny. Looks like y'all had fun. Cheers, Dave

Yup, Jen, we had a great time and are thinking of heading to the June race and maybe even the race in Richmond next year. Dave.....R. Lee Ermey was so cool. As John and I were standing near him talking, all of a sudden he blurted out, "I smell rain". The skies were clear blue and there was not a cloud in sight. Within 5 minutes, we were stuck under the Dodge tent taking shelter from a massive downpour. You can tell he is in amazing shape but when I put my arm around him to pose for the picture, I felt like I was hugging a rock. That man is so muscular and solid!!! I loved his show, Mail Call, too. He is supposed to be starting a new show soon. Should be interesting to watch. I liked his character in Full Metal Jacket. Some of the Captains and crew from the Deadliest Catch series were making appearances around the track but we didn't get to meet them as we were running late for the qualifying.
