Fot the last few days. Worst cold I have had for 30 years and just starting to feel slightly better. Helen has now got what I have and I'm preying it does not hit her like it hit me. Anyway, we are honkered down and not doing anything until we get better. If folks have been trying to reach us we have not been able/want to answer because of not feeling well. -P.

Best wishes for recovery from such a draining, ailing, and indisposed feeling, Paul. Much so now also for the precious one. Take care, both.

Yup Paul...it is going around here in Illinois as well. Moves from your head to your chest and gives you painful coughing. I use "cold eze" it really helps shorten the duration of the cold. Get better soon. Cheers, Dave

Mucinex is the best thing for coughs! It's kind of expensive but worth it. Lisa has had two pulmonologists and a pharmacist reccomend it. I hope everyone is feeling better! Charlotte

Well it's nice to know the Brewcrew is in good company. . . .we've hacked and sneezed and snotted our way through this week. First JrBrew (and his didn't get better after 5 days so off to the doc we went for antibiotics for a sinus infection). Brew then loses his voice for most of the week and develops a cough, and just when I think it's ok to stand in the same room with either of them, I get it. . . . jeez louise! The kicker? We leave on vacation tomorrow at daybreak . . . . between menopause symptoms and this sinus infection I'm gonna be terrific company. Watch out - we may be coming your way to spread our brand of joy in your area!

Hot tea with sugar and lemon is the traditional thing. That, or a good healthy dollop of B&B, heated, in a snifter. My preference. Get well soon. Best wishes, George

Never had so much "snot and lung goobers" come out of me! My diapham and ribs ache from the convulsive coughing and the snot alone could fill a small mayo jar. I have been forcing Helen to take the meds and home remedies (aka some TLC and being waited on ) This was a real nasty one! At least I can breath again. -P.

| Brew's was the same way - he said his diaphragm hurt like hell. And the nasty little neck-headache from coughing! I got the snot - lucky me!! Glad to hear you're on the mend. Our love to Helen, too.

Paul & Helen, take care now! I MEAN IT! Rest, drink lots of water, flu drinks and warm water with lemon juice and honey. Have chicken soup with garlic and parsley and vegetables. Sleep. I'm still getting rid of the persistent flu I got from mum. She had hers for 3 weeks, and mine has lasted the same tomorrow (luckily it's finally ending). It's been hell as far as flus go and I don't want you two (or anyone in here) have the same! GPs in Finland have warned everybody that this year colds and flus are perticularly nasty and persistent ones. PF days, Sanna

It seems this season always brings its own brand of discomfort. We enjoy a relatively sickness free summer only to be assualted physically and run at the nose and drown in our lungs with the coming of fall. As if we don't already have enough missery to contend with. I'm glad to hear you are on the mend Paul. Please take good care of the witch our Hellen. So she can fly her broom travel among us again soon. -Dennis-
