Kudo's to the "Brew Crew"

I got a wonderful PM, from Brew and now a beautiful "Thank You" card from the Klaeser family all because of a little check to the: "Wheels for Josh" fund that the Brew Clan brought to our attention. I am humbled and will be trying to scrape together another small donation soon. In case anyone missed it I have a certain feeling that these great folks appreciate and can use every small bit of help they get. Once again it was "Wheels for Josh" 2536 Summerhill Ave. West Bend, WI. 53095 Thanks to the whole "Brew" contingent and I still hope the Cubbies Win Prayers, Love and Light.........Tim modified to correct title: it's nail biting around here, sorry that I stayed logged on . best to all......be back later.....Tim

| Gosh, Tim, I'm speechless. People like you made it happen. If it's a trade-off and we have to settle for second place, but get to see Josh in his new motorized chair, it's not even close: The Cubbies can have it. That doesn't mean God and I haven't been talking about the first trip to the playoffs for the Brewcrew in 25 years.

I have to mention that Stacey (Josh's grandma and guardian angel who made the fund-raiser happen) can't say enough nice things about the clusterheads who donated to the cause. She keeps calling and asking if so-and-so is a clusterhead (names they don't recognize) . . and then she starts to cry at the generosity of strangers. . . I gotta pass this little tidbit along. A gentleman (not a clusterhead) donated Packer tickets to the silent auction. The SAME GUY bid on and won the tickets (essentially paying for them TWICE) - and then handed them to Josh. I cried my eyes out at that one!! Here's Josh with Packer tickets in hand: Thanks to all of you who could find it in your hearts and wallets to donate for this uber-worthy cause.

Another cool thing happened the night of the fund-raiser. Stacey had given each band member a laminated card to show the bartender whenever we wanted a drink. The bartender then kept a tab for the band. Being the heavy-duty partiers that we are, the tab for the entire band came to $64.00. At the end of the night, instead of Dan and Stacey paying our bar tab, the owner of the hall tore up the bar tab, took the $64 out of his pocket and threw it in the miscellaneous contribution jar. See? Caring and generosity begets caring and generosity.
