Dale Jr. And Wrangler Jeans?

We just heard that Dale Earnhardt Jr's new sponsor will be the Wrangler Jeans logo. Too Cool!!! Hope he keeps the yellow and blue paint scheme like his dad's cars were. Now all he needs is that #3 on the door and roof to add the icing on the cake. Restores my faith as a FAN to see him in this car. Go Jr. go!!! Barry This what I am talking about. His dad would be proud about this.

Barry, I've been reading thru a bunch of websites and most point toward car #88 for Jr. I think the official announcement will be made on Wednesday. Also read that along with Wrangler as a sponser will be Pepsi, Sony and Nike. One thing I am having trouble with is seeing Kasey Kahne with Budweiser as a sponsor. Doesn't seem like such an adorable little face should be peddling alcohol. Who knows what is truth and what is speculation? Will have to wait and see but I'm sure all Big E and Jr. fans would love to see exactly what was in your pic that you posted......I know I would!

Kahne with the Bud sponsor? He'd have to drink it out of his sippy cup I love the color scheme too, but putting the #3 on it? NO. Retire the #. There'll never be anyone good enough to deserve it. but hey........... its RACE DAY! RACE DAY! GREEN GREEN GREEN! WOOHOOOO!!!!

Oops.....mistake made on other sponsors for Jr. It's not Nike it's Adidas.....need more coffee. Just found this info on Speedtv.com: "Hendrick has applied for trademarks on the Nos. 38, 81, 82, 28 and 51."...so who knows? Yup, it's race day, Jen.....cool!! We're loading up the motorhome and are heading to Dover Speedway on Tuesday morning and staying till Monday. Got our tickets for all time trials, practices, Busch East race, Busch race and the NEXTEL Cup race. Am I stinkin' stoked about this? Hell, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John and I will wave at ya from Turn 2 on Sunday.

Barry, For Friday, we are in Section 100, row 26, seats 1 & 2 (Start/Finish Line) For Saturday, we are in Section 103, row 26, seats 1 & 2 (Start Finish Line) For Sunday, we are in Section 206, row 42, seats 1 & 2 (Turn 2)....we have had these seats for Sunday's race the last 3 years and love them. We have a great view of the track up there and the same people are usually in this section from year to year. There is an elevator to take up to the seats so we don't have to climb those dreaded steps. The concession stands and bathrooms are also on this level and if, by chance it rains like it did right after the race last year, we only have a few steps to get under cover.

Sean, That car was driven by J.J. Yeley. Imitrex was his sponsor in 2006. I think his sponsor now is Interstate Batteries. I always got a kick outta seeing Mark Martin driving the Viagra car.

Thanks Cyn, we will be looking for you at Dover, remember to wave at the camera,ok? Here is what my main livingroom looks like Jen and Cyn. I have a print on each of the four walls. The one above my tv of the 1998 Daytona 500 win is by far my fave. Hope you enjoy these prints. Got the Goodyear blimp from work when we switched to their product. Quite a Nascar room. Barry

Cool pics, Barry especially the Daytona win pic. Still let out a heavy sigh when I see pics of Dale....makes you wonder what would be happening with Jr. if Dad was still around.

I, um, like Jeff Gordon Mainly because of the respect he showed to Dale Sr. He was taught by the best. My buddy cheers for #24 so we are alway's kidding him when we get together for a race, he is stuck with two Dale Jr. fans. Nice collection Terry. Barry

Gotta agree with you, Barry. No matter how hard I tried to not like Gordon, you have to admit he is a good driver and very humble. It's sad to be at a race in Dover, Delaware and hear so many people boo him when driver introductions are taking place especially when his main sponsor is duPont, a Delaware corporation. IMHO, he has earned his way to where he is and can drive a race car better than I can so he has my respect. Still rooting for Junior though.......
