Invisable Children

It started out as a documentary...but what these three boys found out, was far more than any story...The uncut 'Invisible children' is a story worth hearing and seeing...
For years there have been a number of children in Africa who are orphans.

They have been through hell and back. If they aren't fleeing their homes in the night to avoid abduction it's trying to find food. They get feed (if lucky) once a day.

And we hear nothing of this. Why is that? Because if they don't have something we want we won't hear about it. Sickening isn't it?

The children who are abducted are forced to become soldiers. When they look at you, there is nothing in their eyes. Blank...

They don't cry. All they think about is blood...blood, death and torture. Some were forced to kill their own families. Others had the experience in watching someone's arm being sawed off. Yes they go through this everyday folks.

And yes, the lord's resistance army (LRA for short) is taking innocent children and making them fight. Some children go crazy, others can't go a day without bloodshed.

Many families have lost their children. Other's were raped and or beaten. So please, repost this. These children have nothing to look forward to besides death...help make that something more.

Make the invisible children...visible. A young boy said 'don't forget us' And we won't, we won't.

Help spread the word. Put an end to their suffering.

Please help the poor children. I know we have enough of our own problems but do the least you can. Spread the word to others. Every little bit helps. Thank you.

Thank you Felicia.
Thank you for caring, for making us remember to care and reminding us the only way this sort of thing will ever stop is if we, you and me and all of us stand together and make it happen. Feeling outraged isn't enough, we need to do something even if it's only start an online petition to make politicians realise we care and want something done on a bigger scale.

Do you know if anything is being done? I haven't seen the documentary or anything and I wondered if you know of anything being done to fight this?

Yes, it is a travesty! I am outraged!
I am also outraged by ancient tribal practices where pubescent females are tortured by their mothers in order to prevent their breasts from developing, and for a myriad of atrocities heaped on children following ancient traditions, steeped in faith............and children who are starving daily at the hands of neglectful parents, or beaten by abusive parents....and the latter right here at home.
Which cause will you take up?
I am certain the children if Iraq are hardened at this point. Who could not be after seeing all the violence?
Yet, all these children are invisible.
Please, today, say a prayer for them.

No much is being done. Few fundraisers have been held and little money has been collected. No one really knows about these poor kids. There is a website for these kids telling you different ways to help and who to send send the money to www.invisablechildren.com was started by the 3 boys who made the documentary. There is a shop of things to buy that send a great % to the kids. Please tell everyone you know and help those that can't help themselves. Thank you.

Amen!

We pray daily for the children who have suffered and are suffering. Its a shame! There are so many of them.

We sponsor children through World Vision but I know many dont have the fortune to be enrolled in these programs.

Thanks Felicia for pointing this out. I will look into it and see what I can do.
