Creative and distracting way Yorky to get the eye muscles to budge from center stage. Pretty, but then a little lower and geeze them jeans go good with the tops. Funny how even diamonds can take a backseat to their surroundings. I must be more of a drooler than a jeweler at heart. But, I like the one that points downward.

Bleaugh. Body piercing: Bad idea from here. I'll never get why teenagers think a pin through your septum or eyebrow adds anything. Tongues of course are just dangerous. Charlie

| A few years ago, I got one of my ears pierced on impulse when we were at the mall--mostly to horrify my daughter. It worked. I liked wearing a small gold hoop when I wasn't at work, but then I forgot to wear it for a long time, and the hole went away. Personally, I like ear, tongue, and belly-button piercings on pretty girls. The little studs that some girls wear in their nostrils are fairly cool-looking. Eyebrow piercings just look weird on either gender, IMO. Less visible piercings may or may not be attractive, but in that case, I suppose I'd pay more attention to the superstructure than the scrollwork. Best, George

| I don't normally outright forbid Ellen to do stuff like that--she does have two piercings in each ear. She doesn't want an eyebrow or belly-button piercing. I somehow managed to convince her that tongue piercings cause the piercee to drool uncontrollably. She didn't want her tongue pierced to begin with, and now she REALLY doesn't want it done. I suppose she'll figure out that I was exaggerating at some point. Best, George

I think I get put off body piercing as I often get to see only the "complicated" side of it, ie when people come in with infections and abcesses and keloid scars .... Believe me, when tongue piercing goes wrong its not a pretty sight! Please make sure its done by experienced professionals.
