Input welcome...

I've been getting messages from the original "arm chair doctore" that I was dateing when I first found this place.  The messages have come over MSN instant messenger.  I have it saet to not save  messages fron either of my messenger services yahoo or MSN, so I can't copy what was sent, but I can copy the email I just sent back.

Is there some reason you are fucking with me over MSN messenger?  I'm getting some pretty nasty messages left and I don't appreciate it.  I thought we were still friends, but after this I can't imagine wanting to be friends with someone who speaks to me that way.  I loved you once but what I've read recently is not the man I knew, or that I ever once loved.  Get over yourself Dennis.

Please don't contact me again if this is the way you deal with an ex.  You have more issues than any therapist could treat.

What say you?

Trouble is Don, I HAVE blocked him.

At least on the "old MSN" but there is a new version out that allows access to anyone on the old lists.  I haven't Upgraded, because I use it so seldom.

Hi Peg

What about just ignoring him and not responding? That may bore him soon and he will stop, or what about abandoning the old MSN address and register a new one?

I think you are absolutely within your right to express how you feel about what he had sent you, but personally I would be a bit more cautious about possibly provoking someone. You know him, he may take it in the chin and move on like a gentleman, but then a gentleman wouldnt do what he had done in the first place. There are some strange people out there  Tongue

Take care and I hope he leaves you alone.

He/it, has also stated that I'm not answering his calls, I've seen one missed call.  The anger and esentment is not like this person I knew.  is it possible that he's been hacked?

Could the messages be coming from someone pretending to be him?

Either way I don't deserve the abuse. So i've tried again to block the messages.

Good Grief like I need this shit.  I'll just go off-line and not deal with the crap.

Redd if he was never like this before then its quite possible ts someone else pretending to be him - there are some right nutty Nora's out there as well you know!

If he HASN'T been like this before I'd contact him by phone if you can and give him the benefit of the doubt.

If it IS him sending the messages this is tantamount to stalking and I'd take it further.

Either way the crap gets stopped, just ignoring never works in my opinion - they just keep getting worse and worse like three year olds demanding attention

Nip it in the bud either way!

Take care of you

Ah yes.  If I remember, he named himself cubscout or boyscout here once.

The fastest running troll thread I ever saw, covering about three pages per hour at least.  Grin     Responding to a post was displayed over a page later, typing fast.  LOL!

AND... the original source for the term "poke a stick at him", (henceforth, trolling stick) coined by the outrageously funny Donna D.    Wink

Simple, install Pidgin (formally GAIM) and block them.

Check about exactly 10 pages later past your first post on the general board, where you made mention of him.  It is hard to pinpoint that exact time but examine the loooong thread and his theories of cluster.

This brought back memories, I commented on your very first general board thread, about him.

Thanks Kevin, but to he honest, I'd rather not revisit that tumultuious time in my CH history.

He had me so confused and had me wondering if it was all my imagination,  I was so at odds ends.  I'm just glad I have this family to watch out for me.

Thanks Kevin, and Jonny, and Vig, and all the others who got me threw the battles.

If I tried to mention them all I'm sure I'd forget someone.

I doubt it is someone else.  I bet it is him.  You just never saw this side of him.  And maybe something happened in his life that has brought out this side of him.

Because of my above belief, I would NOT contact him.  It would be playing into his hands.  I would just ignore him.

I DO remember that, now that you mention it.   He DID come across as someone who was not wound too tightly!

My advice: Just delete anything he sends, without reading it.  Forget him, and just go on with your life.  Like you say, you don't need this shit in your life, now, or ever.
