Three weeks...Brandon pics

All right y'all, I know we have been terrible getting pictures up on the board, I'm so sorry. These last three weeks have been a blur. I've been off the Baby Train for a few years now, and holy shit, I think it ran me over!!! I feel pretty good, lost 25 pounds already...woohoo...went to the doctor for my post-op yesterday and she said everything was healing well. Now just gotta start doin pilates again..six pack here I come!! 
All you need to know about a newborn...they eat, sleep, eat some more, dirty diapers...pee on you as you're changing the dirty ones, eat again, sleep....
His two weeks check went great, he was back up to his birth weight and he's already grown TWO INCHES!!!! Wild!!
Everything checked out well, and then two days ago he decided he didn't want to sleep and that he'd rather cry all the time. COLIC SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course Deej and I both are not getting any sleep, so all I want to do is cry while Brandon is at 2am. We looked into "Gripe Water", which I think actually might of helped last night. He slept for three hours at a time, and I was able to get more than an hour at a time, feel like a million bucks. Daddy slept downstairs to get a good nights sleep, and I had to promise that I would do the same tonight.
He's too precious for words (we're kinda proud folks), and we can't wait for everyone to meet him.
Thank you all so much for all the prayers, gifts, flowers, cards, and phone calls...you all are the greatest.

One of my favorites...Daddy gettin his cuddle on! By the way Linda...DJ is the best daddy ever (duh), he's been such a great help to me. He got christened by his son with #1 AND #2 the first night we were home at 2am!!!  I can't say much though, I have too!!
Conner....the big brother!! He has been such a great help too...almost too eager (if there is such a thing). Bless his heart, he even helped me out of bed the first couple of days at home when I couldn't too well. He rarely leaves Brandon's side and is always there when he starts fussing.
We are truely blessed and we are so happy that you all can be apart of our lives!!! Thank you again!!

BUT, seeing that they are so cute, and your family is such an awesome looking crowd, I will forgive you ... THIS time!
As a side note:
My two sons were 7 and 8 years old, when our first daughter was born. When she finally came home from the hospital, my sons were all over her, and could not do enough for her. They were the same, 18 months later, when my youngest daughter was born.
My wife and I thought it was cute, but would end in a month or so ... Once they got tired of them.
Here it is 20 and 21 years later, and it is still the same. They still spoil the shit out of them, but in a good way. Those girls can get their big brothers to do ANYTHING for them.
It is a good thing that both boys were out of the house, when they started dating, cuz they would have had a hell of a time getting approval from their big brothers! Dad was a walk in the park, compared to how the boys would have been!
I heard just recently, that the boys LOVED taking the girls to the mall ... Cuz they were such "chick magnets" ...
Conner will teach Brandon ALL the dirty words and deeds! Lucky YOU! (And, YES, how to get joy out of that thing hanging between his legs, too!)

What is with those tags on pillows? You cut them off and the stuffing comes out, if you leave them on you are kept awake all night from the sound.
I finally am getting some sleep and Angie goes out and buys a new "Bed In A Bag" with tags on the pillows!!!
I'm cutting them off.

My mum tried to be a supermum (I was born on the same time than they moved to the house mum still lives and I had bit of colic as well; I believe it's my lactose intolerance) and she was a wreck.
BTW, pilates is the best! I love Mari Winsor's Winsor pilates.

BTW, I slept in the guest room last night, Daddy had "baby duty". He woke up once at 1:15am, then went back down until 6am....WTF? Why won't he do that with Mom?! Anyway, I was able to get 9 hours of sleep and I feel like a new woman. It's amazing what a little bit of sleep can do for a person!! The gripe watr seems to working so far. Just gonna keep prayin for patience!!
