A long overdo hello

It's been a long while since I've said Hi to you all. This spring and summer have been one for the books. Not to get to heavy into details my health really took a turn for the worse this spring (not ch) I'm 50 lbs lighter but getting better. The end of June My youngest daughter Brie was in a serious car accident. She got a fractured back and a fracture in her face. Glad to say she's on the mend. I've been dropping by to see whats going on when I can, but to be honest I've almost felt like a traitor because knowing how many of you feel about the subject I haven't dared say anything but I got into a study for the occipital nerve stimulator. I just got to the point where I had to try something. I'm a week out of surgery so can't really give any results. Believe me I'm not coming on to sell this this was done out of desperation for myself. I've missed you all alot and hope to be able to be around more.

Hiya Jim, Good to see you. Sorry your health hasn't been up to snuff, and also sorry to hear about Brie getting banged up. I hope you're both very much on the mend. I don't believe it's ONSI or even DBS itself that people here get worked up about--it's bad information being bandied about by a few people who have an agenda of some sort. We know what you've had to fight against with CH--it's been a terrible road for you. I don't believe anyone here would give you a rough time for trying something that might work for you, considering what you've been through. If someone does, I'll be more than happy to "talk" to them. Good luck. Welcome back, Jim. Best wishes, George

So do you have bolts coming out of your neck now or what? Hope Brie is doing well. Sounds like she got pretty banged up.

Welcome back bro! I too tried the ONSI in March of 2004 @ MHNI (Dr. Rogers & Dr. Rozen). Sorry to report that it didn't help me any, but it was worth the try ! I sure hope you have better luck with it than I did ! Goodluck & keep us posted UNsolved

Thanks to all you guys!! It's great being back. Brie goes back into surgery tomorrow to have the wire taken out. She'll probably lose another tooth during the operation but will be able to get implants in time. During all this she has been diagnosed with ch. Thankfully nuerontin seems to work for. she's hanging tough god love her.
