Hey guys.......I've heard ya all talk about 'lights' ya see type deal which I get small flashes of myself from time to time....but.....past couple days I've had a nasty dam bad headache (won't use the word migraine cuz headache was bad enuff.......sorry).....it's from my damage discs, lumpy damage neck area I repissed off worse sumhow.....we hit a big bump on the bike the other day and I heard my neck 'crack' so figure'd sumthin had to flare up big time rite ? (am used to this shit kinda sorta) Anyhow......last nite late I suddenly seen blinidng flourescent bright blue lights "lines" in one eye....entire bottom of my eye and it flashed so bright I couldn't see out of it very well and "I could feel it"....was that maybe a spasm too goin on to FEEL it I wonder !! I looked in the mirror but didn't see nothin......dunno what I was expectin to see anyhow....ha-ha. My eyes are real bloodshot today and burning but that's fromt he HA nerve crap.....what causes that ....read on here about it before but my dialup is too dam slow to even try and search thru threads. I just kept doin what I was doin and acted like nothin happen'd....but man was that ever wierd....it was sideways lines like VEINS flashing at once. Glad I wasn't out drivein sumwhere esp AT NITE cuz it was overwhelming. Lasted about 5 to 10 minutes and I got busy tryin to FORGET about it verses WORRY ! I'll check on later tonight here when things seem to run faster. Stupid questionier Pam

How often do you get them Pam? It could be ice picks or alot of things and it could be a trapped nerve too - but tell us how long you've been getting them and how many times a day for starters! It would definitely be worth seeing the doc at any rate hon love Helen Sorry read seconds for minutes where you described time - forget ice picks!

| I agree. Hopefully, it's nothing major, but you need to have it checked.

If you find out, I would like to know what they decide to call it. I used to get it exactly like that. Over time, it got worse, and the 'light' I would see eventually became moments of light, moments of 'dark', or moments of something like changing the channels on an old TV set. The consistent thing is the intense pain that comes with it. My neuro thought maybe mini-strokes, but all testing said not that. My gut feeling is it has something to do with messed up vertebre in my neck. I have had a number of high-impact accidents in my life. It sounds like we have that in common. Or, it could be a side-effect of the incredible number of prescriptions they have 'tried' on me (like Neurontin, Topomax, Imitrex, Zomig, Lithium, Lyrica, yada yada yada) with no real luck. -Shawn

Yeah lots of impact injuries fu.....one in the same there ! I know the 'HAs are disc nerve related.....I can wake up with them sleepin wrong cuz of my stupid neck....even feels crooked these days. Anyhow.....you guys ever itched yer eyes really hard and 'seen flashes' of neon light ? Kinda what it was only this time it did it on it's own and I could see 'thru it' but it was bright.....seem'd to have a distinct shape and size this time tho like fu said.....like electric current. It was the lower half of my eye the way it seemd. This time I really could feel it 'flashing'....suppose it was a nerve thing routeing back to my disc cuz it is flared up pretty good this time.....entire neck is SORE as hell now for NO reason so maybe that is related ? I've heard of people freaking out saying they see bright dot bugs flying all over and I remember when me and my cousin were kids she was flipping out over seein bright DOTS or bugs. Everyone just said she was delirous cuz she had a bit of a fever.....but I'd seen it before and just didn't say anything. Heck I've even heard Brad say he was so tired he seen SPOTS before. I know sum people claim to see 'aura's of others........is that what they see or similar I wonder ? NO....I don't think I am seeing that......but they say they see bright rims around people or lights and sum are brighter and kinda like reading palms to them. Always wonder'd if they were makeing it up for a gimic.....but maybe they seen regular bands of light for sum odd reason all the time ? Finding all this kinda interesting that's all. Life force Pam
