Pulled this poll from wnd.com ..a bastion of conservative attitudes, and opinions. As the majority here indicate, our immeasurable pain with CH is, well, just tough shit on us I guess.

That is a little bit of an ambiguous question.
Does it ask if patients should choose whichever drug they feel like?
Or does it ask whether hardcore narcotics should be used in the treatment of chronic pain?

It is presented just as ya see..though I agree about it's ambiguity. Maybe it's more about how the second the word 'drug' is used people's minds shut down, shut off, and immediately utter the word "NO". That is of course unless Merck & Co. distribute them.

Look at the overall distribution: no = 41.87% and yes = 58.11%. Overall, people voted to give folks access to whatever they need to fight the pain.

My take on drug treatment is if you are screaming, you should be able to get whatever pain medicatioin that works, with the help of your doctor.
Doctors need to be in charge of pain management. Our insane war on drugs has caused suffering by making doctors afraid to prescribe and treating us like drug dealers.
Just say no to the DEA....horrible thing.
