Bad News Alert!!! Prayers Needed....UPDATE

Matt just called and Craig (Pop) is in surgery in Shreveport at this time. Matt got in last night to that news. Apparently Pop took a turn for the worse and they had to operate.
For those of you who know Pop, you know he has other problems and surgery is risky at best. Matt is visably upset and needs all the prayers you have right now.
He's supposed to call me as soon as he knows something and I'll keep you updated as I know something.

I just heard from Matt.
They've called off the operation - seems the docs can't agree on what the hell is going on with Craig. Matt is fitt to be tied right now. He's about ready to take the whole VA hosp apart at the seams.
I told him to get hold of the patient avocadate and the administer of the hosp. Anyone down there around Shreveport who can get over there and help him. I'm in bed with pneumonia right now and can't drive (timing sucks!). Craig is not doing good at this time.....
I'm not sure Sen Landau's office doesn't need to be contacted.
Matt is supposed to call back with update ...

Light, love and positive energy on the way. I hope all is well. I wish I knew what to do to help, the VA system is a nightmare to work with. The patient advocate is his best avenue. I will check and see what if anything else he can do to get info and to get things moving in an appropriate direction.
