Tim both your cards came today. He loves them, especially the one with the boot on it. He has a pin in the map. Monday he will learn about Texas and write you a letter.
He also received one from George in Idaho, George PM me your address so he can write you back. Tuesday he will be writing you a letter, also learn about Idaho .
You both should have seen his face when he got them.
He is so happy, and ready to write letters and learn about the states.

Jonny I got to tell you what Little Jonny said about you.
I was showing him pictures of you and he saw those Tattos on your arm. He loves fake Tattos. He has seen how real tattos are done so he knows they are painful. He took one look at your picture and he said " WOW" "I know he is tuff, to endure that kind of pain". When Papa came home it was the first thing he did was show him your picture. Now he really thinks his name is cool !

JD received a card from Cyndi yesterday. What we are doing is we have the map hung on our wall. We are putting the cards around the map and putting a string from each card to the state the person lives in. When I get more cards I will post a picture.
Everyone sending a card will receive a letter from JD. Remember he is only six. He writes one letter each week day.
It might take a while before you get your letter, but you will get one. I will PM you as when he writes you a letter.
I don't know who is having the most fun, JD, Deveny, Buddy or me. You should see his face when he gets one.

Jonny remember I live in the country, when the mail gets to Atlanta, it has to go through about five towns before it gets to me. It will get here. Tim mailed to cards at two different times they both got her on the same day ! I promise to post pictures.

Yesterday Jd received cards from Jonny and a Surrender your Gold T-shirt LoL,
He also received cards YESTERDAY from, Jerry (Callico),
Philip, and a 3ed one from Tim.
Miss Jackie sent him a card and two coins in it. He collects coins.
He has two letters written already. One for George, and one for Tim. Tim yours was mailed today. George yours will be in the mail tomorrow. Tomorrow he will write Cyn a letter. Jonny your letter will be in the mail Friday.
Miss Jackie your letter will be in the mail next Monday, he enjoyed talking to you last night. He has added his coins to his collection.
Thanks everyone for making this fun.
So far he has cards from, Taxes, Idaho, Delaware, Massachusetts, Indianian, Illinois, and New Jersey.
Seven states so far. He is learning about one state a week.
We love you guys!

I will be sending him a card from Louisiana when I get to a spot that I can buy one. I talked to Sarah, who is currently in Poland (see my lemons post) and explained what you were doing. She can't get to town today to get the card becauses of her foot, BUT, she is sending one of her friends to get him one, so he will be getting one from Poland.
When you get more toward studying the world, let me know. I'm a ham radio operator (used to be anyway) and I have cards from all over the world (and many are duplicates, so I wouldn't mind sharing), close to 300 countries. Obviously he couldn't write them back, but he'd still have the card.

I bought him first grade curriculum $173 worth of books.
When I got then, they were what he had done last year.
He told his Mom it was boring, like
someone who tells a bad joke, and the crowd doesn't go wild! LOL, He has a way with words.
I had to send off for 2nd grade books. Now he is no longer board. This one project is covering spelling, History, Science, writing, and reading. You all are helping him learn. Because this has made it fun for him.
He is enjoying reading what you all write.

USP just drove up and Miss Jackie sent JD a bunch of school supply's. He loves EVERYTHING, the drawing pad and twistable Crayola and markers also the fun pad. I like the writing tablets ! Thank you Miss Jackie you made his day !

Charles your a sweet man! JD recieved his cards from you. I read him your letter, I told him about how old these cards are.
1963 and 1940. He thinks that is neat. His Mom had some picture holder sheets. Those cards have been placed in there, and they are the start of his card collection. When we are done all the cards he received will be placed in the book. I think in one card I see a 54 ford, and a 57 chev.
He will be sending you a letter soon Charlie.
Cyndi, JD wrote you a letter yesterday, and its in the mail.
Jonny your letter will be written today and mailed tomorrow !

He should get IA, NE, WY, UT, NV, CA, CO, NM, AZ, KS, and IL from me from this trip. Just went through the corner of the TX panhandle, and didn't find any Texas cards in the two stores I stopped at.  When I went through Missouri it was at night, and I forgot to stop for him. 
Please don't make him answer each one of them! It makes the trips fun for me to have something to find for somone. This is a great idea to keep learning fun for him, plus he gets the opportunity to find that people all over the place are the same.

Jerry....sending all of those postcards is so cool! I bet by the time JD gets done this project, JD's wall map is going to look like a huge spider web and he will have learned how to macrame' with all of that string. What a great project, Elaine.
