Time for a catch up.....

I have been able to respond to a few posts but still feel as if I am falling out of the loop with these crazy weekends.
Friday we had Kevin Fowler (Texas) country singer. Not too demanding but all of the usual backstage and " Green Room" issues. Got home at 4:00 am. ish They were our biggest draw yet putting them over the "Poison", old rocker event 
Yesterday was "Blue October" and they blew the previous nights numbers off the charts. Nice guy's, great sound. They had three "Meet and Greets" in my Green room and had over a hundred full access "FOB" family or friend of band passes out which made my night running the hospitality suite and backstage area a new biggest.....as in hardest challenge yet by far.
At one point before the music I was out pacing and using my mp3 player to try and hammer the Beast back where he belongs when Justin (the lead singer) tapped me on the shoulder to ask what was going on. After a very short explanation he left me to do my thing.
Later after the gig he was curious so I told him that my son had bought me two stress balls to squeeze and loaded my player with music to tame the beast. He asked what music and when I told him Red Hot Chili Peppers he freaked and said " man you have an awesome family.
I told him that even though I am not famous like him that my family is huge, wonderful and spans the globe 
A great (rough) night but, we won another round against the Bastich that visits us all too frequently.
I have to go back in for todays Cinco de Agosto celebration which will have 14 bands and around 10,000 Spanish American participants. As usual I am on Green Room by myself so it should be interesting. I hope to be home by 2:00 am. so I will catch up with all of your happenings on Monday.
