Hello: I've been staying out of the forums much lately, and I miss you wierdos. I've been having an upsurge of CH, 6-8 per day. They have been kip 8+ and I've been getting slower and slower response to the Imitrex shots. I've been halving the doses and still going over the recommeded levels for a few days now. Sleeping is a problem with 2+ attacks overnight and the rest during the day. I had to go to the mat with the insurance company about oxygen and I should be getting some delivered this week. No preventive meds have ever worked. About 2 weeks to a Neuro appointment. Just thought you might like an update and could send some prayers my way. Wishing you PF days and nights, Ray

I'm with ya bro! Get a hammer and smash something, always makes me feel better. It’s also better than punching your temple, and still gets the aggression out. I like piggy banks, I write cluster on it and smash the cluster pig! If you were in Minneapolis I would already have some M-tanks at you house. Trex don't work for me any more, it's DHE or nothing but O2. Roland..

Yes, sleeping is one of our greatest challenges...not being able to lie down is another cruel twist to this insidious disease that laughs in our faces. Lots of prayers to you Ray.

Ask your neuro about the pred taper. It helps a lot of us. And try the Red Bull at the first sign of a hit. Melatonin for the night time hits -- but stick with it for a couple of weeks - it takes a while to start working -- 6-15 mg. Good luck with the O2 -- it's been great for so many of us. Hope it's a short cycle. Hugs BD

Hello Friends: I'm hanging in, ok, for the time being. It's the same ole, same ole thing here. Little money coming in, big time stresses over that. Today was a little better, but I've yet to go to sleep. I see the Dr and the Therapist both tomorrow (God grant them wisdom!). I appreciate the thoughts, vibes, prayers, and whatever else you've got! I love my CH family -- I'm fighting the good fight and I will not let the beast win. This has been over 20 years of warfare and I am NOT going to quit now. Herblady, my wife Shade, is the greatest supporter for me, and I am madly in love with her. Without her to help me out, I be doomed! Ray
