Whoo, Firemen!

I was making salad for dinner, when I head odd noise coming from the yard. The guinea pigs were freaking out, so I decided to go to the balcony and check it out.
Quess what? I saw bunch of firemen and their truck in our paking lot and one fireman was looking streight at me - from the crane!
They had arrived to take care one of the trees at our neighbour's garden. We had a terrible thunder storm on Saturday evening and it cut one of the trees' biggest braches and left it hanging on air. The brach in still so high that it's impossible for anyone else to do anythíng about it.
So, here I am, staring at the firemen and cooking... 
And, yes, bribing the guinea pigs with broccoli...

I actually tried to take few pics of them, but those darn chaps kept on moving! They're worse than my guinea pigs...  Eetu & Kasper actually stand still every once in a while...
But, I did find out the answer to the question:
How many firemen it takes to cut down one branch?
- 6: one to cut down the branch, one to manage the truck and 4 to watch!

And I'm glad that there building wasn't on fire, too. The littleones have too huge and wide cage for me to carry it out of the house!

Now, I know I wasn't dreaming... If I had, the firemen would have been younger, cuter and... well, you know.
Firemen had luck on their side this time: it started to rain just as they left.

Absolutely!
I'm already thinking about training Kasper & Eetu to climb to the trees nearby, so that I can call the fire department...
But of course I would have to warn the firemen: Eetu will growl to them and Kasper will try to bite...

Besides back in here, the people nearby would turn up to "see what's going on" (I know that for a fact because an appartment about block away had a fire couple weeks ago). So not a chance to keep the firemen all to myself...
