There were several discussions regarding having it in Oregon and I believe 3 if not 4 people offered to help host it and put together the proposal.

Not sure what the out come has been though.

Not sure what you may have heard etc., but I was referencing a discussion that was going on here on ch.com:
http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;acti on=display;num=1181083286

There is a handful of folks on the left coast who had mentioned they were talking about putting in a proposal for review for the Oregon area.

With Lizzies connections, TaraAnns enthusiasm and my knowing the area, between the three of us, we could pull off a good convention in Sarasota, Florida.

What say Lizzie and TaraAnn?

There hasn't been one yet on the south east corner.

Edited to add:

Not only that, our Siesta Key Beach has been voted year after year to have the whitest sand......it's gorgeous here.

Yes, yes, yes ... I vote Florida. ( should we vote and do hanging chads count?). My second choice is Vegas !!

I haven't been to one since NashCon o4' and I missed alot of it. My buddy and I went into downtown Nashville to check out the babes local scenery. Then I got drunk, and anyhow ... I missed alot of the fun. I won't make that mistake again.

I want to go next year. I will go next year.  I just made up my mind.  Cheesy

PS. I think I'll hang around with Vietvet2tours !! lol ... we be smokin tough !!

PS. There's always the 'Bluegrass' state of Kentucky. It really is a beautiful place. And it's centrally located, so turnout may be good. Whatchya think ?  I'm sure I could set-up what we'll need if that was a location that you all would be interested in.

I love Florida! Smiley
I've actually been there for 2 weeks in the early 1990s (Dec 27th 1991 -> ) with my mum, dad, aunt and 2 cousins. We had a blast! I recalling telling myself on the plane back home that I'll be back one of these days... Smiley

I seem to remember a convention in Atlanta not to far in the distant past so there has been one in the southeast corner.  I think KY sounds beutiful.  But due to popular vote maybe FL next year and KY the year after.

Hi everybody,

Since you're asking, if you would like to host a convention in your city, you can send a proposal to O.U.C.H. with all the information.
The review process has not yet started, and we look forward to receiving lots of proposals for location possibilites with all sorts of fun things and amenities offered for those attending.

Your contact person at OUCH is Rori Lockman.  Please check the OUCH website for the correct email address.

So glad you are all brainstorming on this already Cheesy

sorry I blew up. Grin sure is nice to see all the pretty stuff in FLA  and we have grandkids there. Oregon is just as nice. How about a semi rural area? That would at least be different. I think we all could use a break from traffic and the like.
