ages 8,7,almost 6,5, and 3. Do you think I'm out numbered???? LOL! You'd think this place would be a madhouse, but it's not! My sis and I have some pretty great kids! Here a pic of them showing their muscles at the Gulf of Mexico, left to right is Sammie (mine) Riley, Taylor, Alexis, & Antoinette (mine). And here is a sweet pic (in my opinion)

A bunch of cutie pies...with very big muscles I might add. I bet they're loving living in Florida...I can imagine as a child how I would've felt moving to a tropical climate. Great picture. Sherri

Thanks. Yep they have HUGE muscles . They are liking florida, but missing Grammie and Papa who will are still in NH until they sell their house. And they are missing shelby dog who is with grammie until they get down here (my sis couldn't have a dog in her place and we are staying with her till we find our house). They will love florida much more when we are settled and Shelby dog is with us. And of course grammie and papa are nearby too. Sammie is already stressing about 2nd grade homework though. Ahhh the hard life of a 7yr old.

Tara, I don't know if you know that I lived in Fl for six years up until about ten months ago... At first, I was soooo homesick, and it's still so new for you and the kids...and New Hampshire is beautiful (I loved it)too... Im still having trouble adjusting to the landscape in Pa(my home, where I grew up) You get very accustomed to Palm trees, the gorgeous beaches...and the lifestyle is different too. No make-up, hair up in a ponytail, shorts and tshirts...walking and riding a bike...I'd look nuts here!! You will miss fall and winter...and as with everything, there's pro's and con's...I never got used to the insects in Fl...or an alligator on the sidewalk...and alligators eating dogs and even people during mating season...you'll see the warnings all over...I was riding a bike over a little "bridge" on the sidewalk, and an alligator must've been lying right there...and thrashed all over the place!!! I aged about ten years at that moment. It's great that the whole family is going to be with you...what else do you need, right? You'll get used to it...and probably come to love it. I really do miss it...especially when I see it on tv or pictures... Best of luck...the kids will do better than you. And hell, I'd be nervous going to second grade in a new school...but it will all work out. Sherri

I am almost postivie clearwater is about an hour from here. The beach we were at was Hudson beach. It was ok but very pretty. We are goin to Honeymoon Island this weekend about an hour and a half from here (it's a state park). I know we will adjust, it's definately not as big of an adjustment as West Virginia! That was like a whole other planet to me. My hubby is from there. Goodluck with adjusting yourself! Pa seems more my speed compared to here lol. I will get used to it cause I was chronicallly bored in NH and I HATE winter and cold. I would much rather be hot any day!

Oh Tara, Do I know how you feel!! At first, I was like "This is crap"..."i'ts sooo hot...and those BUGS!! I lived in fear of Palmetto bugs...that, in case you don't know, look like cockroaches on heavy steroids. I nearly lost my mind when I saw one. One night I fell asleep on the couch, and a Palmetto bug was FLYING through the living room (the bastards fly, too!)I jumped up, tripped over the coffee table, of course screaming my head off....my husband ran out and said "What the hell is your problem???!! Jesus C****t I thought someone broke in." To be honest, I wouldve handled someone breaking in better. Since you love the hot weather...that's a huge plus for you. I do believe I went to that beach...not one of the prettier ones...but like you said, it was ok. Have an awesome time at "Honeymoon Island"...I've never been there...but from the name Im sure it's breath taking. ENJOY AND DON'T YOU DARE GET A CH!! Yeah, those damn alligators...hmpf. Have a PF weekend, ok??

Great pics - cute kids ! thanks for sharing ! I'm jealous that you're in Florida ! I wanna go south too. Might try to sneak down there for a week or two next spring with my son. I always promised him I'd take him down there. It's gotta be soon, cause he's growing up so fast. We want to hit Daytona beach and Ft. Lauderdale, and maybe visit a few other places while we're down there. Maybe if we do make it down there, my son and I could meet you and your family for lunch or dinner one day. <?> I'm always up to meeting a fellow clusterhead ! PF Wishes Unsolved

When my older boys were little (they're 23 and 24 now) I took them for a hair cut at the local barber. They were around 4 and 5 at the time. They insisted on getting shaved. The barber gave them a nice military looking flat top. They were very happy with the cuts ... till Mom saw them. My wife didn't talk to me for two days and cried most of that time. I'm still married over 20 years later so it does grow back And I think he's cute as a button with it shaved or not. -Dennis-

Love the pic Rosy, she looks so cute!!! And her hair is so long, adorable! I just had Toni's cut back but I want her hair to be that long someday. But she hate's me doing her hair so I'll wait a bit longer until I can convince her to want longer hair. Michael, you just let me know and we will definately get together. Maybe we'll know our way around some so we can be a bit of a tour guide's. I'm on the West Coast but my dad lives just minutes from Daytona Beach. And Rosy if ya ever come back give me a holler! LOL Dennis! So glad your marriage survived. That pic was a mere 3 weeks ago and he's already less skinheaded thank goodness. So I know his thick locks will be back in no time.
