I am so sad.

Well I paid for a plane ticket for the convention, paid my convention fee, sharing a room with a wonderful friend. Saved Money every way I could. $25 here $25 there and had enough money saved to buy food Thursday and Friday, and pay for my share of the hotel. It seems like for the last three weeks, every thing has been going wrong in my life with my children. We went camping this week, just five miles down the road to get away. We had to come home and feed the dogs everyday. Buddy did his best to make it a fun time. I tried to put up a front that all was ok. Thoughts of my children wouldn't stay away. I laid awake at night , prayed and prayed. Then I came home . My oldest daughter having money problemes, needs groceries. I could leave her hanging and say do the best you can. I can't do that, not when I have money in my pocket. I couldn't have a good time at the convention if I knew my kids needed food. So as soon as the post office opens Monday I am sending money for them. I wanted so bad to see my old friends and met some of the new people. Jimi I really wanted to hug your neck. I was looking forward to a few drinks with Linda. I will be by the computer looking for pictures and sending hugs. Jackie I will miss you most of all!

Tell your kids that you have done your job as a parent and its about time that they grow the fuck up and fend for themselves! Mr Rogers ruined this generation by telling kids they are "Special" Now every fuckin kid feels entitled!!! Help is one thing, ruining your parents good time is a crime!

I love you all for the offer, but I can't take anyones money. Buddy gets paid Friday so I am sending my roommate my half of the hotel room. I won't let her down. Johnny your right they need to grow up. As a Mom I can't not help. Good or bad I love those kids. Hell I screwed up when I was young. I wished someone had helped me back then. Its the Mom in me. I didn't post this for anyone to pay for me there. I posted it hoping for payers for the kids and me. Thank you all again. Jimi check your email there is a special thank you there.

Look, you're not asking and we ain't asking you if we can help ? From what I'm seeing, you're not gonna be short that much damned money (everything except meals you've already paid for). Let those who can, do for those who always have. Please? 'darlin

Ok gang. I just heard from Elaine. Her heart just isn't in it right now with some new junk that just came into her life. Plus you know how southern wimmen are. Don't want to be beholden to anyone. If Elaine changes her mind over the weekend she will let me know and for those who pm'd me, I will let you know.

Funny thing is... Elaine would be one of the first ones to help you if she could, if the situation was reversed. Elaine...you've "given" so much over the years...your time to take a little bit...and it's only a LITTLE bit. Put yourself in your friends shoes Love ya's Mast

Well said mast, I've wanted to meet Lady Elaine since she was the first one to reach out to me on the old board. For the sake of letting me meet you, please let your family help. It's what families do. Love ya! Guiseppi

Rats. I'm sorry Elaine and for the nasty crap getting in the way. I hope you get talked into going. I'm in the same boat this time but in my case, it's pretty simple. Charlie

OK ! My husband and I sat up and talked about the kids and all the problems that have come up with two of them. Its more than them needing food. I won't go into it all here. Its really had me down. Anyway my husband, Buddy and I talked. He said some things that made me think. Thinking has not been easy for me lately. We figured the money problem out and I have enough for what I will need while there. So no one has to send me any money. You will never know how good it felt to know I have friends that would help me. Some times when a person gets depressed and has problems they really feel alone. It feels good to not be alone. I thank you all for that. I got everything worked out. If Gods willing I will see ya'll there. If Gods not willing then I will remember I am not alone. I have a box on my desk," stuff for God to do box" I got the idea through a email a years or so ago, and in it I put every thing I can't handle or do anything about i. That box is for God to take care of. Things I put in his hands. In that box are many of your problems, many of mine and my family's. Last night Buddy went through the box and read them. You know what? All but two have been taken care of. Things, I had forgotten I had put in there. Thats what I have to do with all this put it in Gods hands! Things will work out for my children. Things will work out all the way around. Cause God is good. Again Thank you all for such wonderful words and for all the advice. Its all been good. I even heard from a old friend I had lost track of through all this. I hope I get there it would be nice to see old friends and make new ones. Either way things work out I will be happy because I have friends. Sending my love to each of you ! I am smiling today and that feels good.
